Usually, my monthly Bombay & Cedar has a cute booklet filled with product info but this special edition comes with a pretty but simple card. The back lays out the products included and has an excerpt about each item.

Bombay And Cedar special edition oil roller Bombay And Cedar special edition oil roller info Bombay And Cedar special edition oil roller detail

"Relief" Essential Oil Roller, 10 ml - Listed Value $19.00

Would it even be a Bombay & Cedar box without essential oils? This roller is for sore and aching muscles and smells strongly of peppermint and basil. It is meant to be rolled directly on your skin where you have aches and pains. It has a very strong scent which reminds me a little of a very natural version of  IcyHot or Bengay. I am not currently nursing any aches or pains (a blessing!) but passed this along to a friend who will put it to good use.

Harper Ceramic Teapot & Infuser with Chalkboard Paint - Retail Value $26.99

I now own the cutest teapot in the world. This perky little pot is a minimalistic white and black and fits perfectly into my kitchen decor. The black part is actually chalkboard paint, so you can leave yourself sassy little love notes in the morning if you so desire. It is a mini size which I personally adore since I am the only tea enthusiast in my home.

Compendium Pair of Notebooks - Retail Value $9.95

I love super thin notebooks that are small enough to slide into my purse but large enough that I don't lose them. As a painter, I absolutely love the inky black watercolored covers and the minimal design. They look very edgy and deep! I wish I could tell you that these absolutely beautiful pages would soon be filled with my most introspective moments, but the truth is that they will be filled up with random scribblings and grocery lists since I am about as deep as a puddle. Groceries deserve pretty paper too though!

Bombay And Cedar special edition polish Bombay And Cedar special edition polish info

BYBI Prime Time Facial Polish, 2.1 fl oz - Retail Value $23.00, Listed Value $19.00

I love a facial polish/scrub, but sometimes I feel more like I am scratching myself than exfoliating in a gentle way which truly benefits my skin. This formula has textured jojoba beads that feel much less jagged than some of the other exfoliant particles found in different formulas. It has a light and fruity scent and the thick clear formula turns a foamy white when you add water. This product has a ton of high performing and skin loving ingredients, such as sweet almond oil, shea butter, marshmallow root, and fruit enzymes. It also has glycerine in it, which I know is a turn off for some, but for me, I find that especially in the winter just a little glycerine helps my skin retain moisture so easily lost to cold winds.

Bombay And Cedar special edition detox tea Bombay And Cedar special edition detox tea detail

Detox Tea by Essential Rose Life, 1.10 oz - Listed Value $15.00

Of course, they included a tea to pair with my new favorite teapot! This soft blend of ginger, lemongrass, dandelion, and tulsi is just the ticket for a little mini teatox. This tea is incredibly mild but tastes wonderful without any additives, served hot hot hot. You could add in a little honey for some sweetness, but any additive could easily overpower this one.

Bombay And Cedar special edition bath soak Bombay And Cedar special edition bath soak info Bombay And Cedar special edition bath soak detail

LM Organics Oatmeal Colloidal Bath Soak - Retail Value $24.00

I have eczema and this condition is only further exasperated in the winter. Oatmeal is a godsend! I was so excited to try out this blend of oatmeal, green tea, and peppermint. Full disclosure: I do not like peppermints or most minty smells. That being said, the oatmeal in the formula tempered down the sharp mint scent to something much more creamy and enjoyable. The green tea also brought a complex scent note to this equation that added to the overall fragrance profile. My skin felt so happy and hydrated after my bath! There was some cleanup (oat particles and tea leaves) but it was worth it.

Verdict: Bombay & Cedar and I always seem to agree well with each other and this special edition box is no exception. They absolutely nailed the "Relax. Heal. Cleanse." theme and it is the perfect time to indulge in such things as we prepare to enter a new year free of the aches, negativity, and growing pains of 2018. Each item felt special, luxurious, and useful. I calculated the retail value of this box to be close to $117.49 which is an exceptional value for a $34.95 box. The box's webpage boasts a value of over $120.00. While we didn't quite make it there, this box is still incredible for the price.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! As of publication, this special edition box is still available!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

I will gift the teapot and tea to a male friend, the roll-on to my daughters’ gymnastics coach, the bath soak to a female friend and the notebook (I got one) to my son to doodle in it. The scrub I’m keeping.

I am glad I got this box at 25% off. I am disappointed to see it has no pretty box, just regular brown shipping stuff.

It sounds like you found a lot of good gifts in this one Emilia! What did you think of the scrub?

Love that teapot! I usually put bath salts like that in a disposable type teabag. That way I still enjoy the benefits, but don’t have the cleanup!

Genius! I usually do the bag trick with messy bath bombs but I’ll try it for this too!
