Stitch Fix Kids Boys November 2018 info sheet item prices

In every Stitch Fix Kids box, they include a pre-paid shipping envelope for returns and information sheets.

Here's the item list of the clothing they selected for my son, and their individual prices. The items total $258 but with my $20 styling fee applied, and the keep-everything 25% off discount, the total adds up to be $173.50

I thought it was cute that the information sheet had a maze on it for your kid, plus the inside flaps of the shipping box have some activities and ideas for how to play with the box, too!

The reverse of that card shows photos of each item (which I love because it makes it easy to reference the pricing sheet!).

Dr. Scholls Burke Boots, brown - Cost to Keep: $38

These boots are definitely our style, and they would be versatile and perfect for the season. Unfortunately, they're too narrow - a problem that both my sons have with their monster feet. The quality is nice, though, and I'm happy with this pick from our stylist, but these have to go back.

Tahari Santiago Quilted Puffer Jacket, blue - Cost to Keep: $38

I love this coat! It's puffy and warm enough for our Michigan winter. I love the color, and the fit is perfect for maximum warmth and layering over winter clothing. Another fantastic thing about this coat is that the hood is lined with a soft, fleece-like material to keep heat in to keep baby heads extra cozy

Capsule Gordon Long Sleeve Flannel, orange - Cost to Keep: $20

This flannel button-down is just darling. I think the color looks good on him and he doesn't have anything like it already. There's also good room for growth in the length, though, it is a tad long so it looks best tucked in. This will be great for church and holidays this season!

Joe's Jeans Kids Kristof Mineral Wash Long Sleeve, navy - Cost to Keep: $20

This shirt didn't impress me, actually. I appreciate a good basic, navy, long-sleeve shirt but the fabric was thin on this one, and the fit was odd. It was slim fitting but too long on my son. You can see this shirt on him below. Maybe the length would work better for him when he grows a little taller.

Capsule Marley Zipper Jogger Pant, off-white - Cost to Keep: $20

These joggers are cool and the fit is perfect! I just don't think we'd reach for white pants for him, unfortunately. In general (and especially through winter) I tend to prefer jean/darker solid bottoms. He said these were comfortable, though.

Stitch Fix Kids Boys November 2018 blue hurley hoodie

Hurley Zed Long Sleeve Jacquard Hoodie Tee, blue - Cost to Keep: $38

Hurley is a good brand! I like the color of this hoodie, and that the hood is lined. The fit was just right, too. The material is a little more lightweight and breathable, which is nice for layering.

Primary The Heathered Terry Draw-String Jogger, cobalt - Cost to Keep: $22

Primary is one of my favorite brands! If you're not familiar, Primary does solids or very basic patterns in a ton of colors. Have you ever found it difficult to find something in a simple, solid color for your children? Or different outfit options that all go together? (I'm looking at you, family photo shoots!) Primary's got it all. Also, the quality is fantastic. My son and I both love these joggers. They're very soft (inside, especially), the quality and construction impressed me, and the fit/style is simple and just right.

Stitch Fix Kids Boys November 2018 Red and black hoodie

Capsule Corrie Knit Hoodie, burgundy - Cost to Keep: $18

This hoodie tee is another piece that I like in our November Stitch Fix. Similar to the Hurley hoodie, this fabric is light and good for layering. The design has a good amount of length so this should have no problem lasting us through the winter.

Capsule Elias Classic Lounge Jogger, black - Cost to Keep: $22

These joggers look identical to the white pair of joggers, but I know we would get a lot more use out of these because black is more in my style comfort zone. We like them!

Stitch Fix Kids Boys November 2018 grey hoodie

Primary Colin the Classic Zip Hoodie, heather grey - Cost to Keep: $22

This is my favorite item in the box. A grey hoodie may seem like the most basic of basic items, which is true, but this hoodie is also from the brand Primary so the quality is really great. The fabric is a nice thickness and softness, as well. My husband has a grey hoodie he wears often, and my son's first comment about this hoodie was "Now I'm just like Daddy!" so he may have also given me an emotional tie to that adorable moment with this hoodie. I know he can wear this with anything, probably just about every day. It's nice that it's a full-zip, too, because he can still wear a tee shirt under it and easily take this off for running around at preschool or church childcare.

The Verdict: I'm so much happier with my son's Stitch Fix for November than last month's box. He clearly went through a growth spurt and almost everything last month was too small. This month's items feel so much more in line with what I would dress my kids in than last month as well. Also, I am so excited that they sent me items from Primary, because they are a brand I know, trust their quality, and love their products. In general, I feel that Stitch Fix has sent us very good quality clothing and my son and I have fun unpacking and photographing them every month. As far as prices go, I think they seem reasonable. Some seem a little high, but I'm really happy with the quality of everything we were sent and the way items we've kept have been washing and holding up so far, so I get it. I also like that there are so many items sent - even if you just want to pick one item so you don't lose out on your styling fee, it's not hard to find at least one thing to love without spending much more or any more than you already have with your fee.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Stitch Fix curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what we got, but you will probably get something that fits your child's style and size even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $258. The invoice lists the cost of each item next to it, but if I keep all items, then I get a 25% discount. The $20 styling fee for the box is applied to the purchase no matter how many items you keep, and in this case, it would bring the total down to $173.50. That’s a discount of around 33% for these items!

We have a primary hoodie that we love (it’s red so it’s the Daniel Tiger hoodie 🙂 ) but the thing I don’t like about the bottoms is that they style of drawstring forms a super hard knot in the wash and keeps it from being easily adjustable.

Nice box! Some really good staples for the fall/winter. The best part is you can mix and match a lot of the pieces for different outfits.

Great review and your kid is adorable!
