Splendies Women's Underwear Subscription October 2018 Review
Splendies Halloween Black Cat Undies, size L - Listed Retail Value $12.00
Eeeegads, these are so freaking cute for Halloween! The print is a strange mix of the baby blue polka dot background with the cartoon black cats wearing orange hats but I will take it. The material is super soft and is trimmed with pretty light peach lace, complete with bow. I don't normally rock light colored undies but these are really fun for the spooky holiday while keeping it cute. I also really like the hipster cut of these which tends to be my favorite and the most flattering.
Splendies Orange Floral Thong, size L - Listed Retail Value $12.00
My sub will often come with a thong, but when you sign up you can choose to omit them if you prefer. It's nice to have a few of these on hand when wearing certain thin materials or tight dresses. The floral pattern of these is really pretty and gives a feminine spring vibe that I can kinda use even though it's fall. They're trimmed in white lace with a classic bow and are made with the same soft fabric as the first pair.
Wilshire & Montana Undies, size L - Listed Retail Value $12.00
The last pair this month is maybe the most seasonally appropriate (although those black cats are pretty dead one) with the black body and pale orange trim. These shout October without being kitschy. Only the leg holes are lined with lace and the waist is kept simple with just matching soft elastic. These are made of a more casual material than the silky soft kind the first two are made with which makes them feel more ready for daily casual wear.
The Verdict: Splendies always sends a delightful surprise of three undies. This month they stuck to a nice theme without going too over the top for Halloween.
