Say it with a Sock October 2018 Review
Each box has a cute little card with a colorful theme. This month is autumn. While the card is themed for fall, the socks absolutely are not, which I actually prefer since you can get more wear from them when you aren't limited to a season.
I love that this box makes being charitable as easy as posting a picture on Instagram. Tag them in your post and they automatically donate $1 to the Clothes for Kids charity. It's an easy way to do good!
Land of the Dino Socks by Sock It To Me - Retail Value $9
These dinosaurs are so cute! I love that they chose to go with a aqua, teal, and purple palette, as so often dinosaur themed items are always green or brown. These are crew height meaning they are going to be better for the upcoming fall weather than the ankle socks we have seen in boxes previously. These socks are a cotton/poly/nylon/spandex blend that is medium thickness and super stretchy.
Hang In There Sock by Sock It To Me - Retail Value $9
These socks are completely and utterly ridiculous. Which means I LOVE them. This pink and teal pair is covered in different hot air balloons and the sloths that have chosen them as a preferred method of transportation. Each balloon on each sock is different and so is the sloth passenger. The icing on the cake is the little sloth hugging across the space right over the toes. This takes whimsical to a whole new universe and I am totally here for it. These are by the same brand as the dinosaurs and have a similar composition. I do think they feel just slightly thinner.
Verdict: Both pairs this month were adorable. I always love when dinosaur products come in girls subscriptions because so often they only find their way into boys boxes. The hot air balloon sloths were just over the top, which is what I would expect from a subscription box for unique sock lovers. The combined value of both socks was $18, making the subscription cost of $13.99 a good deal.
