Rose War Panty Power November 2018 Review
Here is November’s welcome card.
Cotton Tampons, 12 ct
I received 12 organic cotton tampons and two panty liners. I like that there is a variance in absorbency, but I do wish more pads were included this month. Each tampon has cardboard applicators and braided string, and they were accompanied by an informational pamphlet for if you’re not sure what to do with them. I will say that cardboard applicators take some getting used to if they're new to you- I gave one to a friend who said she found the insertion to be uncomfortable since she is used to the smooth plastic applicators.
Modern Skyn Alchemy Shimmering Rose Moisturizing Mist, 2 oz – Retail Value $18.75
Modern Skyn Alchemy is a relatively new skincare brand and I love the old-fashioned labels on the classy glass bottles. This rose moisturizing mist is made with Vitamin E, Aloe Vera, rose water, rosehip oil, papaya extract, and green tea extract. I found it to be incredibly hydrating and it had a nice rose scent. My skin has been battling dryness with seasons changing and this is a nice treat to fight that.
Mystical Blossoms Breathe Aromatherapy Inhaler - Retail Value $7, Listed Value $8
This inhaler is SO addicting. I love eucalyptus and peppermint as it is and find them to be incredibly soothing scents, and this is made with eucalyptus, peppermint, fir needle, Italian lemon, cardamom, and laurel leaf essential oils. Contrary to the shape you do not shove this up your nose, but rather hold it underneath and breath deep. Every time I use this I can feel myself relax instantly, and I am thinking of buying more to keep in my purse and backpack.
Mystical Botanicals Namaste Sexy Body Oil, 0.33 oz – Retail Value $20
This body oil fell a bit flat for me. This is made with hibiscus, rose, ginger, and kava kava (among others), and it is designed to help relieve cramps and sore muscles while helping you feel sexy when you most likely feel like a gross balloon. The instructions said a little goes a long way, but I had trouble getting the oil out of the jar, and the little bit I did get didn’t really go far once I tried to rub it into my skin. The scent wasn’t my cup of tea when it comes to making me feel sexy, and I didn’t notice any relief in my cramps or sore muscles. I may try a few drops in my next bath to see if I have better results that way - I imagine the warm water would help the scent to bloom.
Next up: undies! They were packaged in this drawstring organza bag.
Youmita Underwear Style #7061
I was super excited about the undies this month. This pair is a nice shade of teal with lace edging and a cotton-spandex blend. I found this to fit a bit tight, but they did hold everything together. I love the overall style of these too.
Youmita Underwear Style #7822MQ
These are the same size as the blue pair but these fit on the loose end! Right off the bat, though, I fell in love with the gorgeous maroon with the creamy lace design- I think these are one beautiful pair of underwear! They were super comfortable to wear, but I would definitely wash these on gentle and air dry to protect the delicate lace. Also, I thought that this pair was a thong, but when I put it on I was pleasantly surprised to find these to be cheeky while still providing some coverage. I think these may be my favorite pair of undies from Rose War Panty Power yet!
Gaufrette Beurre Butter Waffles
These have the taste and texture of a waffle cone for ice cream! They were tasty but they would have been better dipped in chocolate.
Goodwipes, 3 wipes – Buy a box of 16 for $2.19
To round out the box we have this sponsored extra from Target. These Goodwipes are pretty self-explanatory, and I love having these around during that time of the month. They didn’t irritate my skin, and I like that the packaging makes it easy to tuck a few in my purse.
Verdict: This was another great box from Rose War Panty Power! In fact, it may be my favorite yet. I am happy with the underwear selections and the beauty products included, and I think that two pairs of underwear with a few full-size beauty products really made this box worth the $30 price. While I couldn’t find a value for everything, the value of the beauty products alone is $45.75, which I think is stellar.
