November 2018 Menlo Club Review

This month focuses on your feet – featuring a pair of New Republic sneakers and Five Four socks.

I arrived with a little card that gets you hyped about your new shoes!

New Republic Sneakers

The main item of the month is a pair of shiny new sneakers. They are like a high-gloss version of a show – almost a mix between the look of a dress shoe and a leather sneaker.

The lining is just super comfortable. It’s soft and warm while still being pretty thin – while I’m not sure if these will be ideal further into winter, they do pretty well on a cold fall day.

The souls are basic. Overall, I really like the look and feel of the shoes – which is really all I ever ask for in a shoe. Plus, Liz liked them while I was wearing them, so it’s a win for me.

Five Four Socks

While I’ve received these socks in the past, I’m happy to get them again for this cold weather. I still have the previous pair in rotation, so I already know that I like these.

This is the second shipment of sneakers + socks from Menlo Club – and what I’m happiest about is how they recognized the seasonality of the items – April shipped with no-show socks and this month is suited towards fall.

Verdict: Last shipment was a bit of a miss for me – so it’s nice to get back on track. Menlo Club switched from their previous brand early this year, I had assumed it was really a shift in just the name itself, but with that switch came much better shipments – so I’ve been loving my shipments all year.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? All Menlo Club deliveries are based on your profile, so you’re not guaranteed to get the same delivery as me.
