Wow. I could buy a new dishwasher for less. That’s nuts. The one advent calendar I always wish for is from Kerastase. They put one out in 2015, before I tuned into these things. It looked amazing, but I haven’t seen them put one out since. Anyone know why? Or if they’ll ever do a calendar again?

My favorite is not even included ( dark amber lilies or something like that-Black bottle) and I can buy 100 ml for $135 at Nordstrom and the sale lady usually gives me loads of free samples so, easy pass..

The prices on some of these calendars are crazy especially since they are just samples. 😲 I think I would rather take that $450 and buy something or a couple full size products

Finally! This will be perfect for my 2 sisters for Christmas.

I love Jo Malone but not as much as they love themselves. 450$ is for people who have money to burn. I don’t so I will just buy my jo malone as I need it.

Really?? I know this brand is expensive and I’ve purchased a few things in the past but a $450 calendar is too much. If I knew I would absolutely love everything then maybe??

I opened this and thought, “I bet it’s $400.” Since I was only off by $50, I think that means I spend too much time looking at advent calendars AND Jo Malone.

I’m floored by the price too. Yikes. I wonder what the strategy is here? Are the companies trying to target people that already love their products – even with that – I agree with the previous posters, I’d rather just spend the money to buy a larger version of what I already like.

I guess I’d hoped/expected that the advent calendars would target people who aren’t as familiar with the brand as a way to introduce them and get them hooked. Lower price, smaller samples (because I don’t need 9mL of a perfume that I end up hating!) and the chance to try out a bunch of stuff, with the hope that there’s something I love enough to come back and buy a full bottle of.

$450 though… not going to happen here. Not just “how many boxes” could I buy for that, but how many year long subs could I get for that! I could even pick up one of the fancier, more expensive subs for that, I’m guessing!

I’d love to see a post about the advent calendars this year, listed by price. I remember that 5k one that Quarterly did a few years back, but other than that, this year really does seem a bit … steep.

Wedgwood has an ornament advent calendar that’s 600 pounds…and currently out of stock. I think they still have one left of their ornament calendar that comes in a porcelain advent house…and costs over 12,000 pounds.

I was going to have an attitude that this was available but then saw the price. I am satisfied with a bottle of Peony and blush. I would love to try more but can easily prioritize my coins elsewhere.

Wow 450??? The one cologne I want is not even in there. I would rather spend 136 for 100ml of something I want. I could buy so many boxes of stuff I would like for 450 and get a new box for 12 days of christmas instead. This just seems crazy to me. Hopefully someone likes it. 😊
