Dia & Co. is a monthly plus size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five pieces that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 20% discount is applied if I choose to keep all five pieces too!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co. may be entirely different than mine!

Here is that adorable Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month!

Dia & Co Subscription Box Review—October 2018 - Message Top

Also enclosed is this sweet message from my stylist, Ashby! We got to meet at the Curvy Con back in September and she was amazing as I imagined her to be. She says she kept me in mind with her selections this month by sending retro-inspired pieces -she totally gets me!

Dia & Co Subscription Box Review—October 2018 - Invoice Top

The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off ( if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren’t listed but the total would be $255. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $176.25! The savings would be $78.75 if I did decide to keep everything! That isn’t too shabby! That would be like getting the Rebel Wilson X Angels top and the peasant blouse for free!

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this top was the awesome lipstick graphic! It made me think of a favorite band of mine, the New York Dolls. I also noticed that this top’s fabric is incredibly soft and stretchy. The length is a wee bit long, but that is okay because I generally wear tops tucked into pants and skirts anyhow! I opted to style this shirt with Rawan Jeans from my May Dia & Co box and the awesome skort Ashby selected for me this time around! I topped both looks with colored mules to add more color and sass!

When I initially saw this skirt I was surprised to receive such a summery piece! The gingham black and white print with bright floral designs scream picnics and fireworks to me. However, I feel this skirt can work in the fall as well! Just pair it with black tights, yellow mules, a black mock turtleneck, a pink beret, and a black biker jacket for a look that Dionne and Cher from Clueless would drool over! This skort has a fantastic fit with just enough stretch. I am looking forward to getting wear from it now and in the warmer months—especially since I won’t have to worry about chub rub wearing this in the summer! Thumbs up!

The early 70s are alive with this top and you don’t hear me complaining! My stylist, Ashby, is well aware of my retro inspired style and nailed it with this piece! I appreciate the combination of the warm terracotta shade paired with the navy, tan, eggshell, and teal colors. This peasant blouse doesn’t have much stretch, but the cut is perfect and rather comfortable. I styled it with my Rafaella skinny jeans, but I could see wearing this with a black mini skirt, black tights, cream cowboy boots, tan corduroy jacket, along with a large brimmed hat for a great vintage inspired fall look!

My favorite style jeans are forever skinny cut: I love how they hug the body and show off every curve! These olive green jeans fit like a dream and have the perfect amount of stretch. I typically prefer extra high waists on my jeans, but these still hit me at an ideal spot. The inside band has elastic as well to provide added comfort and to keep the pants in place. I paired these jeans with the awesome Meri Skye peasant top Ashby sent me, but I can foresee a number of ways I could style these jeans! One example would be wearing them with a baggy, gold mock turtleneck sweater and black penny loafers with oversized glasses. Perhaps for work, I could pair them with a leopard print buttondown blouse, bolo tie, and some metallic booties for a wild, yet feisty ensemble! The killer looks will be endless with jeans like these!

Davie Cowl Neck Swing Dress by JOAN VASS Size 2x—Retail Value $59

This may be my favorite piece in this month’s selection! This dress is insanely comfy with ample stretch. I also love that the fabric is not too thick, yet has breathability and manages to still provide warmth! This dress is going to be my go to this winter to throw on for those bone-chilling winter days! Also, have I mentioned how much I love the deep blue hue? I like the striped detail as well! I often run late to work, but this will be my secret weapon on those days I unintentionally sleep in! I will manage to look put together with this dress, black tights, booties, and my favorite black biker jacket! Talk about a lifesaver, right?

Verdict: Once again, my stylist, Ashby, has managed to send me an extremely thoughtful Dia & Co box! I truly feel that I was in mind when my stylist picked out pieces for me taking into account what styles I would like and what pieces would look great with my features. I loved the entire box this time around, but I especially loved the Rafaella jeans, cowl neck dress, and striped peasant blouse! They are all pieces I have several outfits built around in my head already! That’s how I roll, what can I say? I lead a very busy lifestyle, so having a box like Dia & Co makes it that much easier. I love that I can find work and weekend wear all in one place that is conveniently delivered right to my door!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia & Co curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $176.25 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is a 30% off discount.
