Instead of including a stand-alone info sheet, the information about the products in the box are on a sticker that’s placed on the lid of the box.
Also included was a business card with details on how to win products from the monthly box and a card from one of the included brands.
Inkling Scents Earth Notes Perfume Oil in Kissed by Citrus, 0.17 oz – Retail Value $25
I love citrus so I knew I was going to be a happy camper when I saw the dried citrus rind in my perfume oil! This is made with grapefruit, orange, and lemon zest, and the perfume is really uplifting and refreshing. This is the kind of perfume I would reach for at the beginning of a long day so I could sniff my pulse points and feel calmed as things got hectic.
Yes To Tomatoes Charcoal Facial Wipes, 10 ct – Retail Value $2.99
The Yes To brand is a popular drugstore brand, and I personally believe there is no such thing as too many face wipes! I wouldn't use these wipes to remove makeup, but the charcoal in them makes them perfect for when I don't have the energy to fully wash my face and still want my skin to be clean. Also, I really dig that these wipes are actually black!
Sorme Brow Lift Pencil, Full-Size! Retail Value $19, Listed Value $16
The Better Beauty Box always does such a good job including makeup that is both useful, parent-approved, and good quality. This brow pencil was familiar to me, and then I realized that was because I saw it in the January Luxor box! This is a creamy, matte pencil designed to highlight the arch of your brow, and it can also be used to brighten the inner corners of your eyes.

Joyful Roots Botanical Lip Balm in Ginger Orange, 0.25 oz – Listed Value $5.50
I literally cannot get enough lip balms. While I prefer them to be more fun than regular chapstick, I have chronically dry lips and try to keep a lip balm within reach of all the major areas of my apartment. This lip balm has a zesty orange and ginger scent that is quite pleasant, and it gives some great moisture to my lips thanks to beeswax, olive oil, and shea butter. Joyful Roots is actually offering their lip balms for free (you pay $3.50 shipping), so if you want to try it yourself I recommend heading over to their website before the stock is depleted!
Zion Health Clay Dry Deodorant, 0.70 oz – Retail Value $3.49
This deodorant is made with arrowroot, ionic mineral clay, witch hazel, and vitamin E to be both moisture-wicking and odor-absorbing. My deodorant did not want to leave the tube, no matter how much I twisted. While that was a bummer, I was able to still try it out. I thought the light amber scent was pleasant, and while I wouldn’t want to use this on a hot and humid day it was gentle and left me smelling fresh when I was hanging around my apartment.
The Verdict: I look forward to receiving this box every month! Even though it is geared towards teens, I find myself loving the curation. Almost every month a full-size skincare item is included too, and the team over at The Better Beauty Box does a great job selecting quality skincare items that work for almost everyone. Value-wise, I calculated a value of $55.98. That is more than double the cost of the box, and I think it is an awesome value for an ingredient-conscious box.
