Sooni Mini Pouch September 2018 Review
Here is the info sheet for the box.
Nature Republic Aloe Soothing Gel Mist, 5.07 oz – Retail Value $7.90 (currently out of stock)
This mist is 92% aloe vera and is designed to provide moisture and help to protect your skin from harmful environmental pollutants. This is incredibly gentle and would feel heavenly on a sunburn or on your skin after a sweaty workout, and it is safe for your face as well as your body!
Etude House Monster Oil in Cleansing Water – Buy the full-size version for $11.70
This is a micellar-type water with a cute little monster face on top. I found it to be gentle and effective at moving light makeup, and it didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy.
Jant Blanc Aloe Essential Cream
This moisturizer is formulated with aloe vera and it is light and not greasy. It sank into my face pretty quickly, and it was very gentle. I was a little bummed to see I couldn’t find anything reliable about this brand online.
Dewytree Ultra Vitalizing Snail Essence Water – Buy the full-size version for $24 (₱1,299.00)
This is a hydrating toner made with snail mucus (sexy), and it is free of parabens, alcohol, and artificial colors. I liked how gentle it was on my skin while still making my pores feel nice and closed.
Dewytree Ultra Vitalizing Snail Emulsion – Buy the full-size version for $25.85 (₱1,399.00)
This is designed to be used with the snail essence water, and this too is made with snail mucus. This is a thin lotion, but not thin enough to easily come out of the plastic container- several bangs only got me a tiny bit, but that tiny bit did make my skin feel incredibly soft. This and the snail essence water are the “skincare set sample” that is promised to be included every month.
The History of Whoo Qi Jin Eye Cream – Buy the 20 mL version for $115
This is a pricey eye cream! It is designed to firm the skin around your eyes and diminish wrinkles, and the formula was inspired by traditional imperial medicine. Each pouch will include 1 foil sample, and this was this month’s sample.
IntoSkin The Mud Lifting Mask - Retail Value $5.16
This is a two-step mask that includes an eye cream that you apply before the sheet mask. I found the cream to be rich and ultra-hydrating, but it still absorbed easily into my skin. The sheet mask that followed was comfortable to wear, and my skin was brighter after using.
Into Skin The Mud Revital Mask – Retail Value $5.16
This is the same 2-step mask as above, only it is designed to “revitalize” your skin- and it worked! After applying the eye cream and chilling with the face mask for 20 minutes, I massaged the extra essence in my face and went about my day. About an hour later I looked in the mirror and my skin was absolutely glowing! It felt so much softer and more hydrated—I seriously may need to buy more of these and use it weekly.
Secret Nature Strawberry Mask Sheet – Retail Value $1.66 (MYR 6.90) Mmmm, strawberry.
This strawberry sheet mask has a yummy strawberry scent, and it was a fun 20-minute mask.
The Verdict: One thing I really appreciated this month is that almost all of the items included were able to be found online, which was a problem I had last month. I also think that a few more well-known brands with included this month, which I enjoyed. The Sooni Mini Pouch promises to send 3-4 full-size or deluxe sample sized items, and they met that promise. They also promise that this box will include a value of at least $60, and I can’t accurately tell if that was reached due to the lack of sizing information on the samples and the inability to find the full-size moisturizer online. That being said, I do
think this is a fun box with a wide array of products for the $19.99 price tag, including free US shipping.
To Wrap Up:
