Shore Scents October 2018 Box Review
Here is the info sheet for the box. The front made me feel like I was getting a letter from a friend.

Pumpkin Spice Chai Candle, 8 oz jar – Retail Value $12
This candle smells incredible and I absolutely love it. It has the vibrant spiciness I expect from a good chai thanks to the cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel, and clove, and it is rounded out by a sweetness you expect from fall desserts thanks to the notes of pumpkin, vanilla, and graham cracker. Combined, this candle smells exactly like one of my favorite fall drinks (try a pump of pumpkin spice in your next chai latte and thank me later!). This 8-ounce candle has a 40 hour burn time and the braided cotton wick burns clean.
Cedarwood Vanilla Candle, 8 oz jar – Listed Value $12
This cedarwood vanilla-scented candle is a subscribers-only scent exclusive to the monthly box! It is a lovely combination of earthy, woody notes combined with the sweet vanilla that genuinely smells like a pine tree and a vanilla bean had a baby (don't ask how that baby was a candle when those are both plants, I don't make the rules). This too has the same 40 hour burn time and clean-burning cotton wick.
Cedarwood Vanilla Room Spray, 2 oz – Listed Value $5
This is another box exclusive item, as Shore Scents does not currently offer room sprays for purchase! It has that same great woody vanilla scent, and two spritzes made my entire living room smell refreshed and lovely. You can see the fragrance oil sitting on top of the water in the bottle- I did not follow the instructions to shake well before use when I took this picture. A good shake and it all mixed well!
Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Instant Latte, 1.12 oz – Listed Value $2 (buy a box of 5 for $6.29)
Shore Scents has you covered when that pumpkin spice chai candle has you craving the real thing since they included this instant latte packet! I love how handy these are, even though I personally can’t drink it due to my caffeine sensitivity. I asked my best friend (who always has an iced coffee in her hands) if she would like it to stash in her purse, and her response was that instant coffee was against her religion. Assuming you are not as picky as my friend and I, this will be a great treat! All you need is hot water and something to stir with and you have a pumpkin spice latte right before your eyes.
The Verdict: I am a candle addict, and I love that I can continue to grow my hoard collection with these Shore Scents candles! Perhaps my favorite part about these candles is that none of the scents smelled artificial to me, too—I can really tell that quality ingredients are going into the making of these candles. I love that this box contained two box-exclusive items in the cedarwood vanilla candle and room spray, and that pumpkin spice chai candle is burning in my kitchen every chance I get. Value-wise, this box has a value of $31, which is $1 above the total cost of the box plus shipping. This is where getting the exclusive items really added some non-monetary value.
