Buttercream Frosted Pumpkin Cookies, 12 ct – Retail Value $29.99

I love these seasonal pumpkin cookies- they even have a little green stem at the top! These have the classic buttercream flavor in their cute pumpkin bodies, and individual packaging means it is easy to toss these in lunch boxes or with a card to give a seasonal treat to a friend. The cookies are buttery and so soft, and they do pack a bit of sugar so make sure you are trying to treat your sweet tooth before diving in. I love that these can be frozen, as this means I can always have a cookie in my freezer for the times I really want one. Since this is way more cookies than I could ever eat, I took most of them to the front office of my apartment complex that handles all of the mail for residents. Since I get many packages, I thought these would be a cute way to say thank you—and I was right! They loved them!.

The Verdict:  This cookie subscription is for everyone who loves the frosted sugar cookies you can buy at the grocery store, but appreciates that these are even more delicious. The price is high when you compare it to mass-produced cookies from the grocery store, however, I think the price is fair for the quality of the cookie you get. I also appreciate that there is a discount for subscribing—these 12 cookies would normally cost $29.99 plus shipping, and I got them for $23.98 ($16.99 plus $6.99 shipping. Pricing recently increased to $21.99 plus shipping). Since this is the pay-as-you-go club, you also aren’t saddled into a 6 or 12-month commitment of cookies, making these great for special occasions or one-time gifts. Each month the cookies will be in a different seasonal theme, which you can view here. My next cookie delivery will be in December, and the cookies will be Christmas trees, snowflakes, and ornaments!

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? I believe so! Sign up before the end of the 3rd week of the month to get those month's cookies.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $23.98 ($16.99 + $6.99 shipping) and I received 12 delicious cookies. That breaks down to about $2 a cookie.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

Thank you for continuing to review boxes like this! It might seem repetitive to some people, but it’s good for new readers. I’ve actually never seen a review of this one before (I don’t always read here every day, so sometimes I miss stuff) Cheryl’s cookies are soooo good and totally worth the “high” price. I might just have to subscribe to this one!

I love these types of cookies and I’ve wanted to try Cheryl’s cookies for the longest.
One of my co-workers brought some into the office which was nice but they were old. I think they’d been put in the freezer and taken out past the 6 month time period.

These cookies are average at best. Very heavy on the way too sweet frosting. Think of your grocery store bakery butter frosted cookies and these are much the same. Just overpriced. Will dry out when you freeze

Seriously? This is still a review? It’s the same cookie every month with a different shape, people.

I agree same cookie, different design, nothing new to discover.

Lol, I kind of have to agree. If it’s the same format every month (12 cookies) and most of the designs are pre-spoiled on the website, and the flavor doesn’t change or doesn’t change much, then would new reviews really add new information? I like seeing the Gramma in a Box reviews, conversely, as they do detail different activities and designs. 🙂 But maybe there are lots of people asking for this box to be reviewed, in which case it makes sense.
