Look at this precious shoe print on their greeting card! I LOVE IT!
There isn’t a traditional information card or invoice included with the subscription box; you get a personalized handwritten card with styling suggestions instead. I love all the styling tips Nicole and her team included! Their selections for me are always so thoughtful too.
Black Velvet Daisy Trim Dress - Retail Value Unavailable
Nicole and the CHC team are well aware of my love of velvet dresses! They have sent me quite a few, this velour leopard print one from my January review is one of my favorites… till now! This month, CHC Vintage sent me this adorable crushed black velvet, short-sleeved dress! The dress has a daisy trim under the chest to create definition on this baby doll style piece. The fabric has ample stretch but also has a zipper in the back. I love that this is a shorter dress, but it also is modest and covers my behind comfortably if I bend over. I can wear this to work without fretting over potentially exposing myself! The beauty of this piece is its versatility; I can easily wear this dress on cooler summer nights into chilly fall days. I simply will add tights, booties, and my faux leather biker jacket for a perfect Autumnal ensemble! I styled the dress with accessories from the September CHC Vintage Accessory box (review coming soon!) and some strappy 90s style, chunky heeled platforms from Target. I feel like 8th grade me circa 1995 would be salivating over this ensemble for sure!
Verdict: CHC Vintage nailed it again! This adaptable piece is easy to wear and will certainly become a staple piece in my wardrobe. I always appreciate the thoughtfulness that Nicole and her team put into every selection they send me. They always have me in mind with what is sent and it shows! It is truly like receiving a care package from a far-away friend! Also, I appreciate getting sent quality vintage pieces monthly that are in plus sizes! I am a bargain hunter and love hitting up thrift stores, flea markets, and estate sales--- but sometimes it is nice to leave the hunting to someone else. Thanks, CHC for always managing to find an ideal piece for me!
