I got the No. 4 smoothing balm last month and when I tried it (with low expectations) I was pleasantly surprised!! Such an excellent balm, I contacted the company on instagram and they sent me some samples! So cool!

It’s crazy to have been unsubscribed for 6 months or more and to see that they are still putting the same products in boxes that they were 6 months ago. The best thing that came from my Birch box sub was the discovery of the Air Prepair moisturizer. It is one of the best moisturizers I have ever tried in my life and I have continued to buy it. I’m oily and somehow it manages to super moisturizing but doesn’t bother my skin. I honestly can say enough about it, I gave it with every Christmas gift I gave last Christmas because I had to share the love.

Ohmigosh that air repair is god sent to me and i have dry, flaky cheeks. My 3 month subscription did not go in vain for the same reason

I think I’ll roll the dice this time! I’ve gotten 2 of 3 of the sample choices this year and a couple of items from curated. Would love to see if their algorithm picks non-repeats for me.

Either way I think I’d be happy with most of these items except the liquid shadow. I just prefer powder/cream formulas over liquid.

I think I’ll try the moisturizer. I love a good luxe moisturizer, so nice for when it gets colder, and great for traveling!

The LOC shimmer shadow. I have the champagne-shade they sent out in December (?) last year on today. I love it for a nice touch of sparkle. I think the lilac will be lovely.

I’m going to select the LOC Lilac shade and hope that a few skin and haircare items suited for my needs show up.

I’m bummed. This is my second of a 3 month sub and none of these samples match my profile. I have super oily skin and don’t need moisturizers…or highlighters for that matter. And my hair is also oily (and I don’t heat style) so I don’t need hair masks. I guess I’ll go for the choose nothing option and hope I get SOMETHING that might work for me….
