Tribe Beauty Box has released a new spoiler for the October 2018 box. The October box will include:

The MakeUp Eraser Mini

The MakeUp Eraser Mini  - $12

The MakeUp Eraser works best when the cloth is soaked with water. For best results, use a circular motion with the MakeUp Eraser and it will effectively erase all makeup. Recommended use around the eyes is gentle circles as well as cleaning in-between eyelashes without damaging or tugging on them. The cloth is large enough and does not smear makeup like traditional chemical products and cloths. This allows for customers to only require a small section of the cloth with each use.

In case you missed the previous spoiler:

TheBalm Meet Matt(e) Shmaker

TheBalm Meet Matt(e) Shmaker

TheBalm Meet Matt(e) Shmaker

TheBalm Meet Matt(e) Shmaker - $29.50

This eyeshadow palette features a selection of highly pigmented, triple-milled shades that feel oh-so smooth. The six matte and six shimmer shadows are designed to complement each other, so you can mix and match to your heart's desire!

The October box will also include items from:

the makeup eraser moda

FYI - based on MSA reader requests, we've been reaching out to companies asking if their products are all sourced directly from the brands, and Tribe Beauty Box has confirmed that all products in the October box are all sourced directly from the brands.

I remember them advertising Huda Beauty products some time ago, and of course I was convinced to subscribe. Then….they cancelled a month of the boxes before mine was to arrive. I unsubscribed in frustration and dismay. I wont be fooled again, Tribe Beauty Box, not this time. I mean….add in some Huda Beauty products, and I’ll think about it. 🙂

I was subscribed to tribe at one time but canceled my membership. If I was to resubscribe would I still qualify for the free gift? Thanks

No thanks

I had a few issues with tribe in the past. They were amazing at first, then I noticed the tarte palette that came in the first box appeared to be swatched, i contacted them but they said I was a day too late for a replacement. They were wrong I had a day left but then they said they were out of stock. I let that go, then after all the issues about authenticity I requested to cancel my sub, they told me I was too late to cancel, and there was nothing they could do. I screen shotted their own policy from their website and demanded they cancel me on the spot, they then apologized and said they thought I was referring to the limited edition box, which is a bold lie, I specifically said cancel my subscription and I never even ordered their limited edition box. They finally cancelled my account and I will never sign up again no matter what amazing products they offer, not worth the headaches and shady customer service.

See the ratings up there? There’s a reason subscribers have rated this box so low. There have been issues in the past in several areas, including billing, shipping, and the questionable freshness and authenticity of some products.

I wouldn’t risk eye or skin health if there’s any reason to question sourcing or age of products.

The Box is fine! They paused the service and reorganized. The entire billing and shipping has been revamped. They now have a U.S. base to ship from which lowered shipping costs. They also changed sources for the products. I subscribe to this box. I’m not involved with it on the professional level. I do know that I would trust this box completely. It frustrates me to see these type of comments when changes have been made. I respect and concur about safety. But darn its frustrating when a box halts and restructures costing them thousands. Wanting to do right and all you see is negatives. I dislike replying but Tribe deserves to be given a chance!

They have been charging my card daily for a week. 2 charges had already posted and they still kept trying to change me. They stopped replying to my email. They tried again today and since I paid off my credit card the change posted.

I would love this box but too pricey.😛

Looks pretty good. My personal experience with the sample size of the make up erasers were not good. It fell apart the first time I used it and got that material all over my face. Hopefully the full size is better.

I have a mini, and I only use it to remove excess mascara after I wash my face. Works really well, and it’s pretty gentle. I read previous comments about it tugging on your skin, but I don’t scour my face with it, so I haven’t had any issues. I hand wash it with some soap and it comes clean and I just hang it to dry.

Ok, I’m confused. So, there is a chance that an item would say a particular brand but actually be a knock off? If you’ve confirmed that all items next month our “sourced directly from the brand” that sounds a little concerning. Wouldn’t it be a given if an item says Tarte, Morphe, Beauty Creations, etc. that it comes from them?

Not always. Some subscription box companies buy in bulk from wholesale distributers and not from the company directly. If they do this then there is a chance the product may be a knock-off.

I think some boxes get their products from 3rd party sellers.

amber

Nope. There are a lot of shady people who make knockoffs with slightly different packaging but still put the brand name on there. There was one recently where they supposedly included a Fenty product that appeared real, but comparing it to ones at Sephora, was absolutely a knockoff. You don’t know what ingredients they are putting in those items to be able to sell them much cheaper, and there have been a couple boxes floating around in the last several months where authenticity has been questioned.

You’ll love Tribe! The CEO has worked hard revamping and making this a good subscription. I’m thrilled that there is now a shipping base in the U.S. (based in Toronto) too. She actually paused the box and restructured everything. I mean EVERYTHING to make it successful. Btw, I am so jealous of your free product for signing up! Balm is great.

You totally sound like someone who works for the company, not a unbiased third party. Sorry! But you keep responding on this thread multiple times with these very specific details about the company, seems kinda fishy….

Lawden

Ok so I might be crazy but are the swatches on the right swatches of the actual colors in that palette Bc they look so different! Maybe it’s just me lol🙈🤷‍♀️
