BAM! Box Exclusive “NES Jason” Fan Art Pins by Artist @DirtyGirlPinco - Retail Value Unavailable

This pin collection for July immediately made me think of my little brother! He is a huge fan of Friday the 13th and also Nintendo--- these two things were a huge part of our childhood! I received the wider released pin of a pixelated Jason mask, but man it would be a lie if I said I wasn’t pining hard for the Limited Edition that had a limited release of 99 pins! That design is fantastic! Neat series of pins for sure!

“Groovy” 3D Fan Art Print by Artist Brad Albright (Albrightillustration.com) - Retail Value Unavailable

HOW RAD IS THIS?! Here we have a 3D print of Ash from the Evil Dead movie chain. Without wearing the 3D glasses included, this print is already awesome to gaze upon. When you get those glasses on, though, it will have you saying BAM! (see what I did there?) There are two variations of this print, both awesome: mine that says Ash’s trademark catchphrase, “GROOVY” and the limited edition variant that says “Hail to the King, Baby!”

BAM! Box: Actor Zack Ward Freddy vs. Jason Signed 5x10 - Retail Value Unavailable

Oh, man! I saw this in the theaters since I am a big Team Freddy fan (duh, he is the more cerebral of the two killers!). Here we have an autographed 5x10 from actor Zack Ward who played Bobby Davis.

Alice’s Throwing Stars Replica from Resident Evil: Afterlife and Resident Evil 4 - Retail Value Unknown

I won’t lie to you, guys: I have never seen a single Resident Evil movie, so I have no frame of reference. I do know these are replicas of the throwing stars featured in the movies that Alice (Milla Jovich) used. Milla Jovich trivia: Did you know she once guest starred on Married With Children? I digress; let’s get back to talking about the throwing star. The material is a shiny metal. It feels rather solid. If you are a fan of the chain of films, this is certainly a fantastic piece to add to your collection!

Verdict: The July BAM! Horror Box was a wee bit slim. My favorite items were the “Groovy” Ash print and the NES Jason pin. The rest of the items were alright, but I could have taken or left the pieces. I am eager to see what is included in the August box (I just received it last week before a trip to NYC!). I am hoping to see fewer replicas and more wearable items this time around. Fingers crossed!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the September box. From Bam!:

Your box will ship on the 28th of every month. Please order by 5 pm on the 17th to get the current box.

Value Breakdown: This box cost me $26.99 + $7.99 shipping, which means that each of the 6 items in the box has an average cost of $5.83.

The Resident Evil series is the best! I highly recommend it, both the game and movies.
