Panda Pals September 2018 Review
This month's Socktivity page introduces us to Grin the shark! The front of the page teaches us all about sharks with a focus on their teeth, which makes more sense once you turn the page over. My son Fox is obsessed with sharks and loved learning some new facts about these interesting animals. Over on the back is where we can learn all about teeth! There are fun facts about your teeth and how to care for them. This is very important as we are trying to get Fox into more of a habit of caring for his own teeth!
Plus, did you peak the new packaging this month?! It is a resealable bag that you can keep or recycle.
I also received these stickers that look like something straight from my dentist's office! I love how fun the graphics are, which makes learning about your teeth and going to the dentist that much more fun.
Our first sock of the month features our friendly shark, Grin! I absolutely love how happy he looks and the bold colors from the ocean below. The bright yellow toes say Panda Pals, which is a feature that I really enjoy in every pair of socks. My son thought it was so funny to have Grin on his socks and couldn't stop running after us with them on like he was the shark coming for us.
Our second and final pair of socks is all about teeth and the dentist! My Dad works in the dental field, so I was never afraid of the dentist which is something I hope to teach Fox. These cool socks will be worn to our first dentist visit and are a great way to make taking care of our teeth fun!
Verdict: Panda Pals was a big hit with my son this month! Each pair of socks was a conversation starter. I love that "teeth" was the main focus this month since that can always be a tricky thing to teach and make fun. So learning about a shark's teeth plus our own was something that really hit home with my son. While the activity pages and little extras are a bit smaller from the previous months, I love the quality and bold designs that I come to expect each month.
