Graze 8 Snack Variety Box Review #2 – September 2018
Note from Liz: I’m so happy to introduce our newest reviewer to the MSA team! Welcome, Trevor!
Graze is a mini-snack subscription box that sends a customized selection of treats weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
Graze offers over 100 different snacks that you can rate online, which, over time, helps tailor your subscription to your particular snacking preferences. Some subscribers spend time choosing preferences, noting which options they want to try, think they would like, or “trash” and prefer not to receive. Each Graze box may look completely different!
For subscribers with food sensitivities, it’s easy to “trash” snacks that contain gluten, dairy, or any other specific ingredient; however, Graze snacks are produced in a facility with nuts, wheat, milk, and many other foods that might not make this subscription a good fit for anyone with severe food allergies.
Boxes are shipped via USPS and are conveniently designed to fit in most standard mailboxes.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This month, Graze included an insert detailing the health benefits of the various snacks, which is good for me since I try to eat healthily. Graze offers a variety of flavors that are packed with protein, boost energy, and contain healthy minerals to support strong bones and teeth. The other side of the insert contains the nutritional facts for the snacks included in this month’s shipment. There are also three little tearaway coupons to give to friends to get their 1st and 5th box for free.
Chocolate Pecan Pie – Buy 6 for $8.99
This was the best of the bunch for me, and I would definitely buy it again. While I’m typically not a fan of sweets, this was delicious and really tasted like a less decadent pecan pie. It was the perfect little treat after my lunch salad. The best part was I didn’t feel like I needed to nap on the couch after eating it, which is my typical post-pecan pie routine!
Bountiful Berries – Buy 6 for $8.99
These were good but bit too sweet by themselves for me. I saved most of the bag and used in my oatmeal the next morning. It added enough sweetness and flavor that I didn’t need to add sugar or honey.
Fantastic Forest Fruits – Buy 6 for $8.99
This was sweet but not too sweet. I wasn’t a fan of the lingonberries as they tasted a bit like licorice to me. If you like that flavor, I’d recommend it, but I won’t be ordering more of this one.
Sweet Rhubarb Jam – Buy 6 for $8.99
It reminded me of the apple, rhubarb pie my grandma used to make. Dried apple made up the majority of the mix and the rhubarb balanced the flavor out. I made it my late morning snack, and it was enough to take the edge off my hunger without filling me up before lunch.
Natural Vanilla Seeds – Buy 6 for $8.99
Upon first glance of the ingredients, I didn’t think I’d like this one but it ended up being one of my favorites. Perfect sweetness and crunchiness. The only negative was that I had to wash my hands afterward as some of the vanilla glaze melted onto them. I would definitely order this again.
Raspberry and Coconut Muffin – Buy 6 for $8.99
The most flavorful of the bunch. Not sure what the crunchy Amareti drops are made out of but they were delicious. This snack had the best variety of textures and served as a good afternoon snack. I’d order it again.
Anytime Energizer – Buy 6 for $8.99
This had the best combination of sweet and savory. All the flavors were ones I’m used to so the taste didn’t blow me away. It was good though, and something I’d keep in my bag during a weekend hike or round of golf. Overall it fell in the middle of the pack for me amongst the six snacks.
Sweet Mustard Ranch – Buy 6 for $8.99
I’m not gonna lie, I don’t like mustard or ranch, so I was pretty sure I wouldn’t like this one. It was salty and crunchy, but also had a strong mustard flavor which wasn’t for me. It’s the only one of the six I didn’t finish.
Verdict: For $13.99, Graze sent me eight snacks which break down to $1.75 each. I liked the snacks that had flavors I’m not typically used to eating, and I’d be happy to receive 6 of the 8 of them again (the mustard ranch isn’t for me and I’d rather try a new flavor than reorder forest fruits). I’m really busy during the week and hungry most of the time, so it was great to have these Graze snacks to eat in between meals. The packaging is also really good as I threw them in my bag with no breakage and was even able to reseal the snacks I broke up into multiple servings.
