Our Review

Here is the info sheet providing some details about the items included and distinguishing the full-size from sample sized items.

amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo, Full-Size! - Retail Value $25

Amika has been around the subscription box game for a while, and I am never not happy to see it. The packaging alone is always so bright and cheerful, and while my curly hair never has an issue with getting oily I love the pop of volume this dry shampoo provides at the roots of my hair.

BioSilk Silk Therapy Original, 2.26 oz

BioSilk Silk Therapy Original, 2.26 oz – Estimated Value $3.39 (buy the 12 oz version for $17.99)

This leave-in oil really helps with smoothing and nourishing your hair. I have been distributing it through my hair after washing and combing it before dividing my hair into two braids, and this really makes me feel like my hair is healthier after using it. Since a little goes a long way, this oil will last me a while. Considering the decent price for the full-size version, I would definitely look into buying more when this runs out.

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment, 0.27 oz – Estimated Value $8.64 (buy the 1 oz version for $32)

I have been wanting to try products from Briogeo that weren't the deep conditioner and this scalp treatment did not disappoint! The blend of peppermint and tea tree provided a zesty cooling feeling that I absolutely loved, and my scalp did feel less dry after using! At first, I was bummed about how tiny this sample was, but it looks like the full-size version is pretty small too. Luckily, you only need a few drops for your entire head so the small size should still last a while.

eos Crystal Lip Balm in Vanilla Orchid,

eos Crystal Lip Balm in Vanilla Orchid, Full-Size! - Retail Value $4.99

This vegan and cruelty-free lip balm is free of all types of wax and instead packs a hydrating punch thanks to all natural oils like coconut and avocado oil. I thought it was really fun that this lip balm sphere is completely see-through, and it did its job of hydrating lips and keeping them chap-free.

Grande Cosmetics GrandeLIPS Hydrating Lip Plumper in Clear, Full-Size! - Retail Value $27

As much as I would like to have slightly plumper lips, lip glosses like these never actually work for me. The tingling sensation always crosses over into burning, and I almost always get a breakout right near my lips after using products like these. I think I probably just have sensitive lips, as this does get a fair amount of great reviews.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Beyond Smooth Frizz Immunity Primer, Full-Size!

John Frieda Frizz Ease Beyond Smooth Frizz Immunity Primer, Full-Size! - Retail Value $7.99

This leave-in smoothing treatment is both lightweight and hydrating thanks to the coconut oil, and I thought this did help to cut down on the frizziness of my curls when I let it air dry. I appreciate how lightweight this is because product buildup is a real issue in keeping my curls healthy and smooth.

Kate Somerville EradiKate Acne Treatment, Full-Size! - Retail Value $26

I am going to tell Y'all a sad story, so get your tiny violins out. I have paid full price for this spot treatment at Sephora because it is sulfur-based and that is an ingredient that really helps me to counteract my cystic acne. I was so excited to get a full-size bottle in this box! When I first pulled it out to photograph it was too shaken up from shipping to photograph properly at first—this has a thick substance at the bottom of the jar that is the acne treatment and the top layer is a thin liquid to keep it suspended, and it specifically states on the bottle to not shake. I figured I would let it settle and photograph it the next day, and I brought it into my bathroom to use that night. Disaster struck in the middle of the night when I woke up to use the restroom, however—in my tired haze I accidentally knocked the bottle off my counter, to the floor, and the lid broke off the bottle and this acne-fighting miracle liquid spilled everywhere. I am still heartbroken, and though this is definitely on the pricey end of acne treatments it really is an effective spot treatment. My one caution is to only use this once every other day or less - it can become less effective over time if you use too much, and it also can be overly drying so make sure to moisturize thoroughly!

Lancome Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover, 1.7 oz – Retail Value $15

This is the mini-size eye makeup remover, and it is a great and gentle remover that can handle stubborn mascara and eyeliner with ease. I also used this as a regular face makeup remover because I don’t have the patience for using two different removers, and it also took off my foundation and lipstick with no problem.

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, 0.3 oz

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, 0.3 oz – Estimated Value $3.26 (buy the 2.3 oz version for $25)

I love Laniege—their lip sleeping mask is a holy grail product for me! This water sleeping mask is best used when your skin really needs a boost of deep hydration, and the gel consistency meant it absorbed into my skin quickly. My skin felt plump and more hydrated the next morning, so I would say this sleeping mask does what it promises to do!

Lumene Lahde Pure Arctic Miracle 3-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water, Full-Size – Retail Value $7.99

Fun fact—right before I found out I was getting this product in the box, I talked about it with one of my best friends because this is the only cruelty-free micellar water she could find at Target! I can see why my friend likes to use it—it is great at removing makeup, but I also like using it in the morning when I wake up to quickly cleanse before continuing with my morning routine. This is hydrating and non-irritating, and I love the versatile uses this offers.

Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes,

Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes, Full-Size! - Retail Value $6

Cleansing wipes are one of those subscription box items I can never have too many of, and I love the packaging of these Pacifica ones! These aren’t intending to be makeup removing wipes, and I don’t think they have the fighting power to take off a full face. I do love reaching for these on nights I am tired and didn’t wear makeup, as it is a quick way to clean my face with about 95% less effort. These didn’t irritate my skin, and I think these would also be great to use after a workout at the gym.

Paul Mitchell Ultimate Color Repair Mask,

Paul Mitchell Ultimate Color Repair Mask, Full-Size! - Retail Value $27

I don't dye my hair so I cannot attest to if this helps to keep hair color vibrant, but it does pack a great punch of hydration to dry hair. With curly hair, it is a perpetual battle of keeping my hair soft, smooth, and not dry as the desert, and I thought this left my hair feeling shiny and healthy.

PCA SKIN HydraLuxe, 0.5 oz – Estimated Value $40.83 (buy the 1.8 oz version for $147)

Holy skincare, Batman—talk about a pricy moisturizer! This is called Hydraluxe because it really is very luxe! It soaks into my skin with ease and instantly makes my skin feel more plump and hydrated without being greasy. The formula is a little thick but it spreads out with ease so you don't need too much, and I will truly be using this down to the last drop because I love the way it makes my skin feel.

Revision Skincare Nectifirm Advanced, 0.5 oz

Revision Skincare Nectifirm Advanced, 0.5 oz – Estimated Value $39.11 (buy the 1.7 oz version for $133)

Hello, another expensive skincare item I normally would not be able to afford! According to the website, this was chosen by New Beauty as “the neck cream that delivers noticeable results.” I don’t really use neck creams in my skincare routine, so I am not sure what results I am supposed to be seeing. Even though I am not the targeted audience for this cream, I have enjoyed adding it to my regular routine and feeling really fancy about it (though if my mom knew I had a fancy neck cream like this and didn’t give it to her, she would guilt me so hard).

ScarAway Silicone Scar Sheets, 8 sheets - Estimated Value $23.33 (buy 12 sheets for $34.99, found here for $21.05)

These silicone scar sheets use the same technology that burn centers and plastic surgeons use to try and reduce excessive scar formation and also encouraging scars to fade completely. I don't really have scars to test these on, and I imagine I would need more time than a few days to see results, but I passed these along to a friend who is currently getting a tattoo removed and she said that the scar sheets are comfortable to wear for the long hours that ScarAway recommends to be effective, which is about 12 hours a day. This box is considered to be a four-month supply due to each silicone sheet being washable and reusable, so I imagine if one was going to see results it would be after a few months.

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Co-Wash Conditioning Cleanser,

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Co-Wash Conditioning Cleanser, Full-Size! - Retail Value $13.99

I really enjoy the coconut and hibiscus curl line from Shea Moisture as I really feel it is one of the best drugstore curl lines on the market. I found this to be lightweight but hydrating, making it a good product to use between shampoos and deep conditioners.

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, 2.5 oz – Retail Value $20

While this isn't the biggest bum bum cream available, I still consider this smaller size to be a full-size product since it can be purchased in this exact size from Sephora. I am definitely on the Sol de Janeiro train—I find their products to be hydrating and smell great, and I do really enjoy having a lotion I use just on my derriere while I try to emulate the Brazilian goddesses this product was inspired by! I like how thick this cream was, as it felt really luxurious to apply without leaving me greasy in the slightest.

St. Tropez Gradual Self Tan Plus Sculpt and Glow Everyday Multi-Active Toning Lotion

St. Tropez Gradual Self Tan Plus Sculpt and Glow Everyday Multi-Active Toning Lotion, Full-Size! Retail Value $35

I am very pale, I burn easily, and my mom has had some cancerous moles removed due to sun exposure. I do not tan and I try to always wear sunscreen, so if I want to get some killer tanned legs products like these are my only way to do so. This doesn’t have the typical self-tanner scent, and I liked that I didn’t have to worry about streaks since the lotion helps the product dissipate. I did notice a slight change in the color of my legs after one use, and I think I will be using this for special occasions where I want my legs to look extra great.

Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner, Full-Size! - Retail Value $55

I absolutely LOVE Sunday Riley, and I have used this toner before with great results. I was so excited to see that this product was included, because if this works for you then it’s like paying full price for the toner and $5 for everything else in this box. A little bit of this goes a long way—I use about a half a pump per application, and it really does help to mattify my t-zone and any other oily spots on my face. The green tea helps to reduce redness, and the tea tree helps to fight any current acne spots. Basically, if you have oily, acne-prone skin this product is a godsend, and now that I have a full-size version of this I use it religiously every night!

Zoya Nail Polish in Delia,

Zoya Nail Polish in Delia, Full-Size! - Retail Value $10

I love Zoya nail polish, and Delia is a part of the recently released Summer 2018 collection! The formula is just perfection with two easy coats for full opacity with no pulling, but this definitely needs to be used with a top coat otherwise there will be chips happening within a day or two.

The Verdict: I am absolutely in love with this box! This box contains so many awesome brands, so many great full-size items, and all of the sample sizes contain enough product for multiple uses. This box contains 12 full-size items (14 items including the bum bum cream and Lancome makeup remover), which I think is stellar when you consider that you are essentially paying $3 per item in this box. I calculated an estimated value of $399.52, which meets the promise of $400 in value. I think that is absolutely insane, and I am seriously considering buying a second box since this is still available!

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? Yes, as of publication it is still available!

Value Breakdown: At $59.95 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Amika: $3.75
  • Biosilk: $0.51
  • Briogeo: $1.30
  • Eos:  $0.75
  • Grande Cosmetics: $4.05
  • John Frieda: $1.20
  • Kate Somerville: $3.90
  • Lancome: $2.25
  • Laniege: $0.49
  • Lumene: $1.20
  • Pacifica: $0.90
  • Paul Mitchell: $4.05
  • PCA Skincare: $6.13
  • Revision Skincare: $5.87
  • ScarAway: $3.50
  • Shea Moisture: $2.10
  • Sol de Janeiro: $3.00
  • St. Tropez: $5.25
  • Sunday Riley: $8.25
  • Zoya: $1.50

Another way of looking at it is for $59.95 for the box, each of the 20 products included has an average cost of $3! That is absolutely crazy!

If I recall correctly there was a card for the Revision skincare in the box that had a promo code for maybe a gift with purchase from their site. I can’t remember when it expired (thought maybe end of year). Held on to it for a while, but eventually think I must have tossed it out. Anyone happen to have one and know if the code is still good and what the code was. Thanks!

I was happy to receive my package today; all products intact, and accounted for. What a great deal! I’ll give away the 2 or 3 products I won’t use or try out.

I just got my box and sadly the neck Creme is broken! Argh! I will try calling customer service tomorrow but since it’s a pricey item, I doubt they’ll replace. But my goodness, what a haul! I’m still excited to get so many items in this box!

Amanda

Just bought a 2nd box. Worth it for the Martian toner alone, everything else is like a free gift!
I got my first box within a week of ordering (I’m in the midwest) and everything arrived in perfect condition. This is a better value than any other box I’ve seen.

Ive been back and forth with this one since seeing it and its so hard to decide because i already sub to so many boxes and just subbed to FFF but wish i would have seen this before subbing to FFF because this by far is better and things i could use where with FFF there are things i wish werent in the box like umbrellas and scarves that are over priced anyways. Also im getting me a Boxyluxe and maybe keeping my regular boxycharm so with that being said and with some regret in not subbing now to this box im going to see how boxyluxe goes and probably cancel my FFF box in exchange for this one. Skin care and make up is my thing. Not coffee pots and this box delivers things i want to try at a price i can afford. If i like it then i can repurchase. If not i didnt pay much for it at all. Love this box already.

I loved this box so much that as soon as I opened it I actually got online and ordered a second box. Haha

This is a one time purchase box (and for a limited time) from beauty report; not Every box would look like this. Just this one. Don’t get me wrong the TestTube beauty box from beauty report is really cool too. Just know this is the only time you can buy This Particular box.

Love this box!! I just ordered it! Yay!!

Emily

Wow. I ordered this box the day after this review posted and I saw how many products I’d be able to use (and such big sizes)…I got a confirmation email thanking me for my order and all that info. The 17th I got an email saying my box had shipped already! It stayed in that shipping facility until the 22nd and was at my house later that day. Everything was Hot, which scared me. I know how sensitive beauty products are to extreme temps so I opened my HG product first. The Sunday Riley Martian toner 🤢 idk what happened; if it was heat or just a bad batch but oh lord it stunk so bad. Wasn’t a gel at all, more of a slightly chunky splatter. I immediately started checking other products and found more damage (minimal, at least to me.) the EOS had leaked flavor oil all out, the Shea Moisture cowash was separated and was nasty looking. But other than that everything seems fine (and awesome 😎) My daughter wanted the lip balm and doesn’t care what it tastes like lol so no loss there, and after shaking the cowash it seems to be fine. I called customer service and explained what had happened and the woman I spoke to was Incredibly nice and understanding. She was offering to resend the item before I could finish telling her what all was wrong with it!! I tried to impress upon her that I Thoight the product was ruined by the heat so here’s hoping they send me a new one and it doesn’t get cooked on the way here!!

Luna

What phone number did you call? I’ve emailed them 2x regarding the missing Bum Bum cream, but never received a reply. It sounds like people are having luck with calling them, so maybe I should take that route. Thanks!

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

Luna, I called the customer service number that was on the email saying they’d sent the package. It’s 800-313-0210. When I called I really didn’t think I was going to get a replacement without shipping my product back, because of the price, but I was ok with that considering mine is trash anyways. But they were Real nice and I just got an email last night saying my box had shipped!! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hope this helps!

Jennifer

Hmmmm. I ordered last week but no shipping email yet. How long does it normally take?

Reply ButtonReply

Danielle Noguera

Mine didn’t take long at all, and by far the best box I have gotten!

Reply ButtonReply

Berenice

I ordered my box on Thursday and email confirmation says shipped Tuesday. I wouldn’t even bother with emailing them they dont respond what so ever I would call them. One thing to keep in mind when calling them they have horrible customer service rude and snarky.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

I’m on the same boat. I ordered on the 14th and nothing yet. I emailed them but haven’t gone a response yet

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Disregard the last comment. I literally just got my box. They usually send me a shipment email but oh well I guess

Kirsten

I just cancelled my FFF sub and been trying to cut down on my subs, but this one just has too many great products I know I’ll use (looking at you SR Martian) as they’re already in my routine. Plus, it’s a one-time purchase, so I talked my wallet out of the $60. This box is still available as of 8/21/18

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

I didn’t see anyone commenting on this yet so I figured I’d mention it;
There’s actually a sample in the Eradikate box for a cleanser. I was sooo close to throwing the box away whenever I decided to go ahead and pull out the
‘product manual’. What a nice surprise!

Reply ButtonReply

Jennie

I bit the bullet and ordered a second one over the weekend. I haven’t been able to get over how great of a deal this. My only complaint would be that 2/3rds of the hair products aren’t suitable for me since I don’t have curly or color treated hair. I hope I can sell or give those away.

Reply ButtonReply

Paula

I bought two boxes. Such an amazing value – my daughter and i will use almost everything, and what I don’t I will sell to pay for the boxes!

I love Zoya nail polish, too – so i was so happy to get two different colors!

And after reading these comments, I’ll be trying the neck cream on myself and I’m trying the Eradikate on my teen son’s acne, since even prescription stuff isn’t working!

This is the most happy I’ve been about any beauty box! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Retpunzel

Ah man, I already bought 3 other beauty boxes this month plus I’m really itching for that new Boxyluxe. Not to mention I already spent over $120 combined at Ulta and Sephora. But the value of this is insane. It has stuff that I’ve been dying to try plus some new things I’ve never heard of. I can give the neck cream to my mom if she’s interested. I have to look into the Shea moisture conditioner but my son is in need of a good conditioner and I was already going to check that brand out to see if it works for him. Plus I get paid today. GOSHDARNIT. Please leave me one guys! Lol I’m hoping it won’t be sold out by the end of the day 😯

Reply ButtonReply

Brittany

Currently having the same exact problem! After my annual FFF sub renewing and add on’s, I’m only letting myself get this or BoxyLuxe… I just can’t make up my mind though!! Wish this was like $10 cheaper.

Reply ButtonReply

Berenice

I just ordered this box it was too good to pass on it $400 value for $59.99. One thing that I’m upset about is I was charged twice and emailed twice as if I placed a second order after placing the first which I clearly didnt cause I would of had to fill out the form twice. I emailed them as soon as I noticed what happened I’m really hoping they refund my money for the second box before they ship my first box out.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer Davis

How long do they sell this box for, until it sells out?

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer R Davis

Nevermind, I bought it

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

Ordered another, couldn’t help it – and yes the fff add ons too, such bad timing!

Reply ButtonReply

Jill M

I want to order this sooooo bad, but I just cant!! I just spent a ton of money on FFF ad ons and I’m going to try my hardest to get boxyluxe this month whenever they decide to let us upgrade. And Allure has so many great products coming out the next few months so I just can’t do it this time. It is a great box though!

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

I really didn’t want to… I have so much overstock… my sub boxes need their own room… BUT THIS BOX IS AWESOME… I just ordered another one!!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Sherry Fralic

Me too, I got two also. Such an incredible deal

Reply ButtonReply

Tina

I am trying to hold out since I feel somewhat overloaded (I’m down to about 30 products from too many to count). And I want to shop cruelty free and not everything is. I’m trying to talk myself out of this but it’s such a great deal. I hope my will power lasts longer than it’s available!

Reply ButtonReply

KScarlett

Does anyone know if the Scar Sheets would do anything for stretch marks?

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

I’m so bad! My husband is going to kill me! 😭😭😩 I got $300+ on add one from my Fabfitfun box and now this. Lol I need to stop online shopping…..

Reply ButtonReply

Lars

You and me both! I too ordered waaaaay too much FFF add-ons. But I cannot resist this box. The value is off the charts. And the review sealed the deal. I just placed my order for this box. Woohoo!

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Great review! I just ordered the box. What a great value!

Reply ButtonReply

FS

So excited about this box! Thanks to the head’s up on here last week I ordered and it’s already shipped!

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

I’m having to strongly resist buying this. Oh, FFF, why did I get so many add-ons?

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

I was week! I had to get it! Even though I got a lot of add-ons from my fff box lol

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

I managed to talk myself out of it originally, but now I’m getting tempted again. I can always use scar sheets after 4 abdominal surgeries. And the neck cream, co-wash and scalp treatment are up my alley. Help!

Reply ButtonReply

Lynn

Have you used the scar patches? Do they actually work on raised scars? I’m cut from ribs to be belly button and then below the belly button in two different areas. That middle abdomen scar is very raised I’m wondering if it will help at all?

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

Yes, I think it has helped some with a keloid scar I have. Massaging the scar is important too, but I am so not on top of that like I should be.

Jodie

Yes, they work on raised scars. I have some hypertrophic scarring and they have def. helped to flatten!

Rini

Wish I could help! I talked myself out of it the first time, too, and then it was posted a second time in the FFF forums and I just couldn’t! I am so excited to get this!!

Reply ButtonReply

Elizabeth

I do not need anymore skincare or haircare products right now but I am so tempted after reading this! If FFF add ons didn’t just happen, I would definitely buy.

Reply ButtonReply

Mel

I already bought a box, and I’m having to stop myself from buying another. FFF’s add on sale is the only thing staying my hand, tbh. Sunday Riley toner, and the Bum Bum cream are my HG’s so I know I’m going to buy them both, in the future. The temptation to stock up on them with the added bonus of stocking up on everything else, is nearly too hard to resist.

Reply ButtonReply

Renee

I bought for the Revision, Eradicate, Paul Mitchell, and PCA. I don’t need the rest, but what a bargain!
