That Daily Deal is a site for daily flash sales at deep discounts. They also offer three subscription boxes, the Monthly Mystery Box by Jamminbutter, the Mini Mystery Box by Jamminbutter, and Peaches and Petals. The super-random assortment of products in these boxes are a true surprise. You always end up with something unexpected.

This is my first time reviewing this box!

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This review is for the Mini Mystery Box by Jamminbutter, $9.99 a month, box.

Mini Monthly Mystery Box by Jamminbutter July 2018 Review

This box includes a theme card of sorts that includes word games and puzzles. How clever!

There's also a card advertising a new monthly food box subscription and a contest to win a Google Home Mini.

Royal Sport Ltd. Backpack

This month's box includes a lightweight nylon backpack. I love this purple color--it's a color I've been super drawn to lately! There is a large Royal Sport Ltd, a whey protein manufacturer, logo on the front in white. The backside is made of mesh to allow for airflow. Perfect for dropping in sweaty clothes in after the gym or a wet bathing suit! This bag is about 17" long and 13" wide. It also features a zippered pocket near the top with an opening of 6" and depth of about 5.5". Not quite big enough for my iPhone 8 Plus, but perfect for keys and a wallet.

Royal Sport Ltd. Towel

This terrycloth towel is just the thing to keep in your gym bag to dry off with after some intense cardio! Again we see that awesome purple color with a nice grey offsetting it. The towel measures 24" x 17" and is surprisingly plush. Prominent on both sides is the Royal Sport Ltd. logo.

Royal Sport Ltd. Tank Top

Rounding out this box is another Royal Sport Ltd. branded item. It's a size large, measuring about 30.5" from top to bottom. The sleeve-holes are cut deep to show off those buff arms in or out of the gym! From the bottom of the shirt to the bottom of the armpit, I measure 17.5". When laid flat, the width of the shirt is 21". This black shirt is 60% cotton and 40% polyester, so it's fairly soft.

The Verdict: I wasn't sure what to expect from the Mini Monthly Mystery Box by Jamminbutter, though I guess that's part of the charm! I wish that each of the items weren't so overtly branded, but I appreciate the functional nature of everything. Would you use these items for your GTL routine or perhaps for a day at the pool?

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You can always sign up, but what you'll get in your box is totally random!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $9.99 + free shipping, which means that each of the 3 items in the box has an average cost of $3.33.

Can anyone tell me how to cancel this subscription?

They don’t make it easy! You have to call in order to cancel. I believe I had to set up an online account through one of the affiliate websites like 13deals.com and then could access the shipping schedule. It looks like you can hit a “suspend” button to stop service but it really brings up a pop up with a phone number to call and cancel.

I was so disappointed with my June bag, it was all promo stuff! 🤨The towel, the bag and a large bottle. Good thing my 6 yr old’s fave color is purple! They claimed it all for themselves!! 😆

Its like you’re paying for Royal Sport swag promotions.

I don’t understand why people pay real money to get a non-refundable box full of unknown stuff that they probably don’t even want.

High praise for measuring the items. 🙂

I normally like the Monthly Mystery Box, but I agree with B that this looks like free stuff you get as a promo from a vendor booth. I don’t mind if there is one item like that, but it’s a bit much to have all of the items be that way. What if you don’t like what is being branded? Then you’re out of luck since all three items were the same brand. I still like MMB, but this particular box was disappointing.

This looks like free stuff you’d get as a promo sample or at a vendor booth at a fair.
