Ivory Clasp is a monthly women's accessories subscription that's all about clutches, totes, backpacks, and all things purses!
When you sign up, you’ll fill out the Ivory Clasp questionnaire, letting their stylists know what patterns, colors, materials, and shapes you prefer in the bags you buy. In addition to answering questions, you’ll go through several screens of “select the bags you’d be happy to get” to provide even more specific information about what you’d like to receive.
When your curation is ready, they will send you an e-mail giving you a few days to select the specific bag that you wish to receive. If you do not select a bag, their stylists will select one for you and you’ll get to be surprised.

Our take on the popular saddle silhouette, the Indio Saddle Shoulder is the compact carryall to covet. Sleek leather meets gilded hardware and intricate whip-stitching and fringe details—voilà, the perfect festival bag.
This faux leather bag is perfect for summer – it's well constructed, on trend, and seems fairly durable (passed the fingernail scratch test). The fringe gives the bag a playful feel, and I love the black on camel color combination. The fringe has more of a suede feel – giving this bag life into the fall season.
The bag is fully lined in a black and white patterned fabric (unsure of the composition – I’d guess cotton) and features a hidden magnetic snap-flap closure. The website says that it features an interior zip compartment and two slip pockets – but my bag only seems to feature the zip pocket.
My husband wasn't home to take a photo of me with this bag, so here it is worn cross-body in a selfie to help you gauge size.
The Verdict: This month I let Ivory Clasp select the bag for me. I did take a look at the selections available during the choice period but as I’ve said before, the bags have been the same for several months and I already have picked out the ones that I really wanted. In the value department, this bag retails for $108, and I paid $49 with the subscription – which seems fair if you trust the “retail” price on these private label brands. I’m getting a little bored with the selection, and have plenty of handbags right now – nothing is really exciting me and making me want to continue to subscribe. I wish there were more brand choices that I know and love, and that the inventory changed more frequently so that it didn’t feel like you’re picking from your second choices from the previous month.
