Flair & Paper August 2018 Review

The theme for August is "Can’t Touch This." (cue MC Hammer)

Each box comes beautifully wrapped with a card that will introduce the theme and all the items. This month my box featured 4 greeting cards, notecards, a planner clip, sticky notes, a journal, a mini zipper pouch and some gift tags; all of which I dared to touch – again and again!!

Let’s Stick Together Greeting Card

Let’s Stick Together Greeting Card – Retail Value $4.00

This card is so cute with its cactus in a pink planter. Perfect for a BFF or anyone who needs reminding they are not alone!

A vertical card that measures at 5 ½ inches tall by 4 ½ inches wide and is blank on the inside for the perfect message to the receiver. This greeting card is also featured with a brown A-style envelope.

Happy Birthday (You’re Still Not Special Though) Greeting Card - Estimated Value $4.00 (Find more Flair & Paper Birthday Cards here)

I loved this card and even though I couldn’t think of a person in my life that it was meant for, I immediately thought of a person in my husband’s life that would (and is) getting it for her birthday. Happy Birthday (You’re Still Not Special Though) is one of those sassy cards offered by Flair & Paper that I am sure my sister-in-law will love. A horizontal card measuring at 4 ½ inches tall and 5 ½ inches wide and paired with a brown a-style envelope is definitely on my list of favorites. I was disappointed to not find this one though, but there are so many other great HBD cards in the online store!

Good Vibes Greeting Card

Good Vibes Greeting Card – Retail Value $4.00

I really like this card! It is featured with 3 different types of cacti. I think of a cactus as a nice gift for a new homeowner; this card would be sent for any friends or family that will be purchasing in the near future.

My favorite part of this greeting card is the emerald green a-style envelope it was paired with. I just love the color! Like all Flair & Paper greeting cards I have received, it is blank on the inside for that perfect, well-thought-out message. This card is vertical and measures at 5 ½ inches tall and 4 ½ inches wide.

You’re Stuck With Me Greeting Card – Retail Value $4.00

The fourth and final greeting card I received in this month’s box is the You’re Stuck With Me vertical card. Flair & Paper did not disappoint me with this month’s greeting cards! I especially loved how “stuck” is covered in cactus stickers! This card is genuinely perfect for anyone in my family! Like the other vertical card I received, this measures at 5 ½ inches tall by 4 ½ inches wide.

Hello Notecards

I adored these little notecards!

I received 3 of these simple, yet super cute notecards. Measuring at 5 ½ inches tall and 4 ¼ inches wide and paired with a brown a-typical styled envelope, I can send these out to anyone I am thinking of without having to wait for a birthday or special occasion. I really hope to see more of these in future Flair & Paper boxes!

Succulent Planner Clip

This succulent is perfect for a planner or notebook to help mark your page or date. A simple image on a paper clip allows my notebook to stay flat and still save my spot.

Cactus Sticky Memos

Yeeees!!  I love sticky notes. I use them all the time for work, so I was super psyched to get more to add to my ever-growing collection. These sticky notes feature a cactus in a blue potter and have 30 pages.

Stitch Journal

This seafoam journal is a great addition to this month’s box. Lightweight with 32 pages and measuring at 7 inches by 4 ¾ inches, the journal is perfect for work or school. It fits perfectly in my desk and doesn’t take up any space. While I do prefer lined pages, the blank pages offer no limitations on doodles or notes throughout the day.

Cactus Mini Zipper Pouch – Retail Value $12.25 (Find more mini zipper pouches here!)

A canvas pouch that is long enough to fit pencils and small enough for a purse or side pocket of a backpack. It features a blue zipper and is 8 inches wide and 4 ½ inches tall. Perfect for back to school!!

Cactus Gift Tags

The final item in this month’s box was a pair of cactus shaped gift tags.

Floral design on the front and solid blue on the back, these tags are handmade and are really cute. A perfect addition for a gift for the card that we will be sending sister-in-law!

September Calendar

Flair & Paper also sends out next month’s calendar card insert. I personally love getting these! September, you are just around the corner!

Verdict: As always, Flair & Paper has sent out such a great box! The cactus theme was well played and well thought out with all the items. The greeting cards were sassy, sweet and fitting. I really look forward to this box every month! The online store currently features greeting cards, canvas bags, mini bags like the one in my box, tote bags and note pads. To get the stationary items, you should subscribe to the box as they are not featured in the store (like the planner clip, notecards, note journal and sticky notes).

I received 10 items in this month’s box (not including the September calendar page). The items I did find in the store (cards & mini-bag) totaled $28.25, well over the subscription box total; 5 items all together. The other 5 items are not found in the store, but for $19.99, you will not be disappointed!
