Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. Recently, Fabletics introduced a plus size line of their fashionable workout gear! You can shop their line in two different ways—either you can shop through their regular store or sign up as a VIP member. The VIP Membership works like this:

  • Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
  • Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $19.00 for new members. (I'm not sure if "new members" refers to just your first order, though.)
  • Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you'd get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
  • As you shop, you'll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.

Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, you are not automatically sent a package each month. You have to go into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

About Fabletics

The Subscription Box: Fabletics VIP Membership

The Cost: $49.95 a month. This price goes towards the cost of the outfits curated for you. The cost of outfits varies, but you'll only be charged for what you choose to actually buy. If you want, you can choose to skip the month, and you won't be charged. If you don't spend your $49.95 nor choose to skip, Fabletics will charge you the $49.95 and just save it as store credit for you to use later.

The Products: High-quality, on-trend athletic clothing curated to fit your size, style, and needs. Think leggings, tops, shorts, and outerwear for yoga, running, and all kinds of other workouts. Fabletics is targeted towards women, primarily, but they do offer workout clothes for men, too!

Ships to: Free shipping to the contiguous United States when you spend $49.95 or more. $4.95 flat rate shipping if you spend less than that threshold. $9.00 to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and APO addresses. $5.95 VIP rate to Australia, or $9.95 otherwise.

Fabletics Plus Clothing July 2018 Review

Their invoice is a standard invoice with details on what was purchased along with 24-hour customer service info.

The back has some helpful information on Fabletics’ return and/or exchange policy as well.

Graze is a healthy mini- snack subscription box that sends a customized selection of goodies weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly! When I was in Califonia, places like CVS sold Graze boxes—which I thought was awesome! Fabletics included a coupon to try Graze out for free! Very tempting! Check out our Graze reviews to learn more and try a 4-snack sampler box for $1 shipping!

Fabletics also included this $100 Wine Voucher for Nakedwines.com. A service like this is great for stocking up wines as gifts for housewarmings, dinner parties, or for the holidays. Summer is flying by, so grab some wines for those low-key evening porch hangs.

Cobie Medium Support Sports Bra Size 3x

Cobie Medium Support Sports Bra, Size 3x—Retail Value $44.95, VIP Price $34.95 (currently on sale for $17.47!)

Recently, I received a mesh insert sports bra in my May Fabletics box, and I loved it so much I was hoping to get it in other colors as well! The cut on this is not the same, but this Cobie sports bra was similar enough that I had to give it a whirl! The mesh insert on this piece is on the front with a sweetheart neckline detail as well as on the back. The sports bra itself is rather comfortable, but I am wondering if a 2x may be a better fit in terms of keeping me in place for working out. Otherwise, I love this piece!

High-Waisted Mesh PowerHold Capri, Size 3x—Retail Value $64.95, VIP Price $44.95 (currently on sale for $22.47!)

I have been on the hunt for a pair of mesh insert leggings with a cell phone pocket for months but never saw them in my size. Imagine how fast I clicked the “Add Item to Cart” button when I saw these babies! I am surprised that an actual outfit bundle wasn’t created for these and the sports bra I selected, but I wanted both pieces so badly I overlooked the a la carte price! These leggings fit great, have ample stretch, and are high compression; they become like a second skin. This piece is incredibly comfortable and flattering as well. I absolutely love the mesh details on these and that phone pocket is so convenient. I am already planning to wear these on my next flight as well as the gym!

Verdict: The selections this month on Fabletics were amazing! This set is definitely one of my favorites I have received. It is relaxed and easy to wear, but incredibly stylish. I am most excited for the leggings because I had wanted a decent pair of mesh insert leggings with a pocket; so thanks Fabletics for making my legging dreams come true!  My only real complaint about Fabletics is the same always: I want to see pieces universally across the board be available in straight and plus sizes. That doesn’t mean I don’t give them props or recognize the broad selection they already offer in plus sizes, but I am eager to see ALL the same styles available for us bodacious babes! Otherwise, I am consistently impressed by the quality of the pieces I receive. I LOVE FABLETICS!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? The sports bra is still available, but the leggings are no longer available in black. They are available in three other colors though! Sign up here to nab all the pieces, or browse other styles and outfits.

Coupon -For a limited time, new VIP members can use this link to get 2 pairs of leggings for $24 (a $99 value)

Value Breakdown: This outfit cost me a VIP price of $79.90 + free shipping and returns. The retail price is $109.99, which means I saved around $30 or nearly 30% off.

I got those leggings in a purpley color and they are just my favorite things! I looooove the cell phone pocket.

Have you tried any of their zip up bras or tops? I’m a fellow busty lady (38H) and the zip ups I’ve gotten have been amazing! The tank and midi-bra I got are regulars in my rotation, especially if I have a long car ride or plane ride, something where I don’t want underwire in my way. My August purchase includes one of their new zip-up bras and I’m hoping it’s just as great.

Really? I haven’t even tried their bras because I didn’t think they could possibly work for those of us truly larger chested, esp, naturally. I hate uniboob. Used to be 34/36GG but put on some fluff and am 38/40H atm and have stayed clear of the Fabletics sports bras as they appear to be unwired and only in basic letter sizes. So yeah, do they keep the boobies separated and not weirdly smashed or flattened? Question for any and all, thanks. 🙂

The zip up ones are the only ones I’ve gotten than don’t weirdly smash and I love the way they look! My boobs don’t get the uniboob look with the Mia tank or the Bluebell Midi sports bra (I get 1 or 2X). I’m going to try the new Zoe zip up bra this month! I wouldn’t generally recommend their other sports bras (I had my share of returns), but they did say this month that they were making some big changes to try to accommodate different shapes, so maybe their new ones might be better. I wish they would start making them in bra sizes, but let’s be honest, even if they did, our sizes wouldn’t be there. 🤷‍♀️
