Cheryl’s has additional variations, including a Gourmet Brownie of the Month Club, Treats of the Month Club, Sugar-Free Cookie of the Month Club, and even a Kids Cookie and Book of the Month Club! You can also choose the 12 or 6-month plan, which would mean a delivery once a month or once every other month.

This is a review of the Buttercream Frosted Cut-out Cookie of the Month Pay-as-you-go Club with 12 cookies.

Buttercream Frosted Apple Cut Out Cookies, 12 ct – Retail Value $26.99

How do you like them apples? These are so cute, and perfect for back to school lunch boxes or gifts to teachers! The cookies are buttery and so soft, and they do pack a bit of sugar so make sure you are trying to treat your sweet tooth before diving in. I love that these can be frozen, as this means I can always have a cookie in my freezer for the times I really want one!

The Verdict: This cookie subscription is for everyone who loves the frosted sugar cookies you can buy at the grocery store, but appreciates that these are even more delicious. The price is high when you compare it to mass-produced cookies from the grocery store, however, I think the price is fair for the quality of the cookie you get. I also appreciate that there is a discount for subscribing—these 12 cookies would normally cost $26.99 plus shipping, and I got them for $23.98 ($16.99 plus $6.99 shipping). Since this is the pay-as-you-go club, you also aren’t saddled into a 6 or 12-month commitment of cookies, making these great for special occasions or one-time gifts. Each month the cookies will be in a different seasonal theme, which you can view here. My next cookie delivery will be in October, and the cookies will be pumpkins!

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? I believe so! Sign up before the end of the 3rd week of the month to get those month's cookies.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $23.98 ($16.99 + $6.99 shipping) and I received 12 delicious cookies. That breaks down to about $2 a cookie.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

Yikes. That’s a steep price for some cookies. I think I’ll just make mine at home.

Those ingredients. Yikes! If there was an organic version of this box at this price point, I’d be all over it. I like the idea of having them individually wrapped.

One of the shopping networks sells all different kinds of Cheryl’s cookies as a one time or auto delivery if you want more than just sugar cookies.

My mom sends Cheryl’s cookies to my kids and they go crazy when they arrive! These cookies are so delicious they just melt in your mouth. It’s easy to share them because they are individually wrapped. These cookies definitely put a smile on my face with every bite!

We send Cheryl’s as business gifts all the time. Great flavors outside the traditional frosted sugar. Had a pineapple toasted coconut one this week that was to die for.
