Splendies Camouflage Hipster Undies - Listed Retail Value $12.00
I immediately liked these because they are camouflage and the black lace trim and accents are really cute. Unfortunately, once I got them on, they were a little tight in the legs and the cut was very low in the back and didn't do the best job covering up my entire bum. I'm pretty sure I've had size large Splendies undies fit me before, so it must just be the cut of these particular ones. On the positive side, these are 95% cotton (and 5% spandex) and they've put the tag on the side instead of in the center of the back (which is never comfortable, IMO).
International Intimates Pink Hipster Undies - Listed Retail Value $8.00
Winner winner chicken dinner! These are my fave undies of the bunch. The pale peach trim on the bright pink body is just too cute and really screams summer to me. These are also 95% cotton and 5% spandex but have a higher rise than the previous pair, so I feel more comfortable wearing these.
Rene Rofe Lingerie Pastel Paisley Thong, Size Large - Listed Retail Value $10.00
I haven't been wearing thongs at all much lately (unless it's say, laundry day), but it's good to have a few pairs in the event I need to. These are not only a pale pastel lavender and blue paisley print, but they also have matching corset-like ribbon details on either side, with mesh backing, topped off with bows that all match the lavender scalloped trim at the top. This pair sadly isn't cotton, but are made of 92% polyester and 8% spandex. While these are really pretty to look at, I think I'll be passing them to a friend just because they're a little too involved for my more basic undie tastes.
The Verdict: Splendies can go either way with me since I tend to have boring basic tastes in undies. They always send fun colors and prints of underwear that ranges from $8.00-$12.00 and this month I got a full range of value. For $13.99 I received 3 pairs of surprise undies that have a retail value of $30.00 which is nothing to shake a stick at. The only bummer is that I really only liked one pair, but my girlfriends will surely be delighted to have these passed on to them.
