BuddhiBox oiliving lifeBuddhiBox essential oil spray

BuddhiBox oil

Oiliving Life Acalma Calming Spray, 1 oz. – Listed Value $12.00, for 1 oz. bottle (Buy a 4 oz. bottle here for $18.99)

As you might imagine from an essential oil spray that touts itself as calming, the dominant scent here is lavender. Always a favorite! It's supported by witch hazel, bergamot, chamomile, vetiver, and other oils, which add a little complexity to the aroma. I know that bringing scented items into the workplace isn't usually the tasteful thing to do, but today I found myself alone in my little corner of the office (my coworkers are working from home), so I decided to spray this oil blend around me before digging into a big project. I sprayed a little on myself while I was at it, and the lovely aroma lingered around for a bit. It was really nice!

Reiki Herbal Votive Candle – Spirit — Listed Value $5.00

I've received Astral Journeys reiki candles in past BBEO boxes and I like how faintly scented they are. This one has a vaguely vanilla smell to it. They usually come with these instructions for how to charge them up with good energy before lighting!

BuddhiBox bracelet

BuddhiBox beaded bracelet

White Onyx Bracelet — Listed Value $14.00

On a hot day, slipping the cool stones of this beaded bracelet on my wrist was surprisingly refreshing! I'm a little on-and-off with wearing bracelets—I love the look of a stacked collection, but sometimes they get in the way while doing work on my computer. This summer, though, I've been in an "on" phase and I've already worn this white onyx style a few times. I wore it once with two wooden-beaded bracelets and another time with one featuring darker stones. I have small-ish wrists and it fits nicely without flopping around, but the stones are strung along an elastic strand so I can see this being a good option for all sorts of wrist sizes.

BuddhiBox clear crystal BuddhiBox stone

Crystal Point - Listed Value $10.00

This is perhaps the clearest stone I've ever owned. It's amazing! There are some naturally scratched surfaces and some cloudy sections, but the transparent parts are fun to hold up to different things and see how they visually transform. According to the included card, crystal points are considered "master healing crystals." It's a great stone to hold onto while meditating.

BuddhiBox light sourcing meditation

The Dreaming Yogi Meditation - Listed Value $10

This month's meditation was designed to put listeners in a state of "receiving." It's a 7:22 minute video intended to brighten the light that's already within you and fill you with vitality. It's guided by Meli the Dreaming Yogi, as always, and starts with a visualization of a light source, taking you through ways of spiritually interacting with that light to achieve a pureness. This was one of my favorite BuddhiBox Essential Oils meditations so far!

Verdict: July's BuddhiBox Essential Oils box made me feel refreshed from the moment I opened it to find a collection of peaceful, white-colored items inside. Its focus on healing, purity, and light was very welcome and very much enjoyed as I scattered these pieces throughout my home and life! BuddhiBox Essential Oils costs $15.95 (US shipping included), and its contents add up to about $51, which was calculated using a mix of listed and retail values.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the August box. Order by the 8th of the month to receive that month’s box.

Value Breakdown: At $15.95 for this box, you're paying approximately $3.19 for each of the 5 included items.

Hi there, I'm Christen. I am all sorts of things:

🌳 a writer who loves to convey feeling

🌲 a mother who wants to have just as much fun as my kids do

🌳 an outdoors-lover who's achieved #1000hoursoutside with my family

🌲 a low-maintenance self-carer

🌳 a general hungry person with an unstoppable sweet tooth

You'll find me collecting stationery and squirreling away stickers, riding bikes and swimming with my family, creating outfits in colors and silhouettes that make me feel amazing, wearing big earrings, drinking beer and asking my husband to feed me harmonies to sing, taking my vitamins, living for dancing to live music, roping everyone into a craft, being human and vulnerable, and celebrating the phenomenon of being alive.

...and doing it all with energy, delight, and jokes along the way.

No essential oil??

Hey Jen! The essential oil comes in the form of the spray (as you can see from the photo that lists the ingredients, it’s just distilled water and a mix of tons of oils!), which is pretty typical for this box. I would love to see straight up essential oils included sometime, though, as it sounds like you would too!
