Omg I love this pallet! Such fun colors for a night out on the town! I personally love experimenting with pallets so this will be interesting!

oh gawd so glad I cancelled my sub. the colors are terrible! only useable if you work as a clown! what is boxycharm thinking with these weird colors in the palettes. if you have to give palettes every month at least have decent colors. yiiiiiikes.

I’ve been dying for a colorful palette, but I’m really not feeling this one. And I’m sure it’ll be ages before they do color again, because everyone complains. Bummer.

Boxy can’t cater nor please everyone… with that being said, instead of tearing down those that are excited for the pallet do the simple solution and unsubscribe!

Me

My friends and I go to 80’s dances all the time, so this palette will be great!

There are always soooo many complainers with Boxycharm – shut up, stop whining and unsubscribe if you are so unhappy. No one is forcing you to purchase this box – it is a small fee and is never guaranteed to make you happy each month/with each product.

I loved the last box even though the majority of the people online seemed to hate it. Just because you like something (myself included), doesn’t mean that Boxy has to change to suit your tastes. I like these boxes as they introduce me to new products/colours that I haven’t purchased for myself.

First world problems – SMH.

FINALLY! A palette I’m actually excited for. I’m so tired of neutral colors. I’ve wanted bright bold colors. I love incorporating them in my looks. You don’t have to have clown makeup to use bright colors. Those who love work appropriate colors had plenty in the past, now we get something as well

These wild palette colors are screaming “early 1980’s dance club” to me. These shades are giving me flashbacks from those days…. dancing the night away with my girlfriends to new wave music, dressed in neon pink fishnets, painted black & white checkerboard shoes, shoulder pads, big hair, big dangly earrings and black-with-anything-neon minidresses. LOL! Oh, we were young and daring to wear such bold statement-making colors then! Kinda cool that a new generation gets to experience makeup in these shades now. I might fiddle around with them on a day when I dont have to go anywhere, and maybe dance around to Men Without Hats “Safety Dance”. Good times!

Wow all the hate! I’m pumped for it! I love a good colourful look or lower lash line. This will be awesome for winged liner! Either way, we have 5 more products this month so I am sure everyone will find something they will like and worth the $21 🙂

I am happy to get a colorful palette. I’m not a big a fan of hers the last cpl urs. I wouldn’t have bought it. I HOPE EVERYONE THAT SAW THE VIDEO HEAED HER SAY ITS NOT EYESHADOW ITS PIGMENT. I am Great with that just go really slowly and easy with them. And I can get some Great color. I hope!

There’s no difference between eyeshadow and pigment except for outdated FDA rules and regulations and your all caps statement. I’m not sure why so many ppl keep pointing this out like it’s a huge deal, but in Europe where science counts for something the vegan pigments used in place of the ground up bug parts found in most eyeshadows have been found to be perfectly safe foe use on and around the eye area. Only the US FDA is so scientifically behind the times that they say these pigments are possibly not eye safe and that’s why these are called pigment palettes and not eyeshadow palettes. That’s all there is to it.

I’m a pretty positive person, but myself personally couldn’t & wouldn’t use this particular palette, even though the colors are pretty, it’s just not me! 2nd month disappointed, but you can’t win em’ all! I didn’t get the palette w/ my colors this month & next month I’m getting a palette that’s not my colors-oh, the irony…lol😉😒😣! It’ll be a gift, nothing wrong with that but so EXCITED to see what is in the box! Hope it makes up for the palette bc Boxy has realize most ppl won’t be able to wear this everyday, nor want to! ✌💗💄

Can’t wait!!!! Love incorporating vibrant colors into my eye looks! And btw, the comments have not disappointed since I knew there would be plenty who thumb their noses at bright neon colors! To each their own and just because someone likes bright colors doesn’t make them a clown or going to a costume party or a young teen!

Haaa “the comments have not disappointed.” Sometimes I’m bored and read these comments so I can be entertained by people’s first world problems and their dramatic reactions.

I’m ready for the Party Animal palette (would have purchased it anyway so I’m glad to see the spoiler), and I will also take all the basic black eyeliner BC wants to send. In fact, they can send anything they want except pale foundation.

Man I don’t think I could give that thing away 🙁

I am so beyond excited to try this! The best part of boxy is that for ONLY $21 you get to try some fun new stuff. If you take all my boxy makeup away you’ll notice a trend of the same exact colors. Boxy adds some excitement to my collection.

I can’t help myself here. ALOT of people complain about neutral palettes, nude lipsticks, black eyeliner, etc. When they switch it up on you, you don’t like it. I’m here to tell you that it’s a measly $21. It’s less than what I pay for paper towels every other week.

To all the comments of people that are disappointed we are receiving this in next months box, I would always love an extra for my daughter so we can rock this palette together! 🙂

Cassie

So disappointed!!!! I was excited when I heard there would be something from Laura Lee Los Angeles, but really, Laura Lee??? Who wears these colors??? I’m a teacher. Could you see me showing up to work wearing these eye shadows?? I know there are people who would wear these, but most of us would not! Ugh!

I feel your pain.

I wish I could use this. I wish I had time to play with the palette as suggested. However, it looks like clown makeup to me as well. I’m 43 y.o. housewife, it’s not my bag of chips so I had to cancel my favorite subscription box. I would rather take my 21 dollars and buy something I will use and want. Sorry, not sorry B.C.

So excited for this. I just bought 2 Juvia’s Place palettes on Ulta so I am going to be color set!!

Super excited for this, I LOVE my other LLL palette Cats Pajamas, I will DEF use this for eyeliner and a pop of color. I have tons of neutrals this and Carribean beauty palette (Alamara? I think?) has gotten me to step out of my comfort zone and yes, even at 51 I can do that and not look like a clown. I think it is sad that there can never be a conversation online without it becoming negative like this.

Bonnie

I just don’t get how everyone says this is too bright and unwearable, yet complains about basic black eyeliners? Seems like everything is either too basic or too out there for some people. I saw one person comment that the last three palettes have been unusable. Alamar, Crown, and Laura Lee? Three very different palettes. Not sure what you want then. Maybe subs aren’t for you?

Me, I love experimenting with new stuff, but I also love to re-up my basics, so subs are great for me, and I look forward to my Party Animal palette. I’ll make it work. 🙂

I was wondering the same a neutral palette a warm toned palette and a bold Colorful one…not sure else there is to offer maybe cool toned? Those are raaaaaare these days. Maybe they should save two months of BC and get the norvina palette. These are about the surprise and openness to try new stuff, can’t win em all, but if you’re not happy with ANY palette maybe this isn’t for you, ya know?

Sabrina

Man, some of ya’ll are salty 😂 Geez. I’m a highly educated late twenties woman, and I could pull off any of these colors, at a job or otherwise. I have no idea why so many people think these colors must only be for teenagers or people who don’t work. I don’t complain when they send us 10 neutral palettes a year, yet they send ONE bright palette and people completely lose it. If one colorful palette every few years is that big of an issue, then subscription boxes probably aren’t for you.

Cristina

I’m really excited for this colorful palette. TBH, I gave away July’s palette since I have similar color stories in other palettes. Furthermore, I’m even more excited that I get to try out her formula even if I’m not a YouTube subscriber to her channel. I like the look of the Nudie Patootie palette but want to try her eyeshadows before dropping that much money. Maybe it would have been nice if the other (Boss Babe?) palette were an alternate but honestly I would have been disappointed to get that instead of this. Until they use our profiles and preferences, there’s a chance for disappointment but it’s $21. I can’t be mad about that or I’d unsubscribe.

Of course I just bought weekend festival by BH yesterday and a color palette is going to be in this Boxy. I’ll still get some use out of it though and love seeing some bold colors.
