Sunscription Club June 2018 Review
Most sunglasses subscriptions send styles at random which can sometimes not work in my favor. With Sunscription Club, you get to choose your sunnies each month before they ship. For a picky person like myself, this sounds too good to be true! After paging through a ton of styles and different brands on their site, I settled on the pair below.
They came packed in their own branded box within the shipping box (which also had some bubble packaging to keep it safe).
Earth Sunglasses Venice in Espresso/Black - Retail Value $165.00
I love wayfarers, but I also love round sunnies, so I thought this was a great frame to settle on. Plus, I've never had a pair of wooden sunglasses before so I thought they'd be cool to try. These are extremely lightweight and rest on my face really comfortably.
I chose the "espresso" color that also comes with black lenses to keep them looking sleek. I was also drawn to the unique bridge on these frames. The two little bumps remind me of cat ears!
On the outside of the right arm, the brand name, Earth, with its logo is carved into the wood. What's great about the arms of these is that they have "spring hinges" that bend slightly the opposite way to prevent breakage when putting them on and taking them off as well as making them really comfy on your head.
There's also a quote carved into the inside of the left arm that reads "Face the sun and the shadows will follow".
They come with a soft cloth drawstring pouch to keep your sunnies scratch-free.
I'm so happy that they fit my small face and I think they look good on me!
Verdict: I strongly recommend Sunscription Club for picky sunglasses addicts who are looking for some new monthly styles. So far, my first pair was a win and being able to choose the style I want is really helpful and gives me something to look forward to. It also ensures that I'll like what I get instead of being disappointed when they arrive. Although I hadn't heard of Earth Sunglasses before, the quality seems pretty nice and I got them for much cheaper than retail.
