When you sign up, you fill out an extensive style profile. They ask what kind of items you would like to receive along with size, color, style, and price point preferences. Each category is ranked with a like, dislike, or love. There is also a space to leave notes for your stylist. By the end, your stylist should have a very good idea of what you like and don’t like.

Each edit includes 5-6 clothing and accessories items picked for you by your stylist using your style profile. You have 5 days to try everything on and to send what you don’t want to purchase back in the included prepaid envelope. My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Wantable Style Edit may be completely different!

Wantable Style Edit April 2018 Review

I’m interested to see what is included now that warmer weather is here. I have such a hard time finding summer clothes and I’m hoping having a stylist to pick things for me will help.

Good to know: Wantable Style Edit now offers a package frequency option. You can receive edits when you want, whether that’s ongoing, seasonal, or on demand. They included a nice card to explain.

Also, Wantable has recently revamped their Stream feature. Now you can request or decline items that you want/don’t want to try.

Wantable included a $25 off coupon for Winc. Check out our Winc reviews and save $20 off your first box!

Each edit includes a booklet with a note from your stylist and an invoice. This month, my stylist Noelle sent me 5 clothing items and 2 accessories.

And here’s my invoice. If I were to keep the entire box, the $475 total would be discounted $115 (20% off + $20 styling fee deducted) for a total of $360.00. With this discount, each item would cost an average of $51.43.

Wantable also includes a prepaid return envelope for any items I don’t want to keep.

Let’s start with two pieces I paired together:

Supply + Demand Gauze Button Down White, M

Supply + Demand Gauze Button Down White, Size M - Cost to Keep $78 (Return)

I love this fabric. It is a 100% double-faced cotton that is airy and cool, perfect for spring. I have it styled with both a tied look (my preference) and an untucked look here. I like that the back hem is a little longer and that the shirt isn’t see through. I do have some gaping at the bust and overall I’m just not crazy about the fit. It is a little too boxy for me.

Kut From The Kloth Catherine Boyfriend in Enticement Wash, Size 6

Kut From The Kloth Catherine Boyfriend in Enticement Wash, Size 6 - Cost to Keep $89 (Keep)

Typically, I’m a skinny jean kind of girl but the cut of these boyfriend jeans is just right. They are slim through the hips and thighs and looser toward the knee. The mid rise and slight stretch make them very comfortable. You could wear these uncuffed if you like since they have a straight fit, but I’d always wear them cuffed.

Here is another outfit with three items from this box:

W. by Wantable Intermingle ¾ Sleeve Tunic in Olive, M

W. by Wantable Intermingle ¾ Sleeve Tunic in Olive, Size M - Cost to Keep $48 (Return)

Wantable carries a lot of this intermingle fabric which is a slinky, soft, knit fabric made of a rayon/poly/spandex mix. The heathered olive color looks good with light wash jeans and the length is perfect for wearing with leggings too. This top just doesn’t excite me enough to keep it though.

Articles of Society Mya Skinny in London Wash, Size 28

Articles of Society Mya Skinny in London Wash, Size 28 - Cost to Keep $64 (Return)

I want to keep these skinnies so badly! I love the light wash without destruction. The denim feels so soft and they are the perfect length to wear long or to cuff. My problem is, as I was wearing them around my room while trying on tops, they kept sliding down. I found myself hiking them up every few minutes and I know that would bother me after a while. I’m here, sadly folding them up and placing them in the return bag. So close!

Argento Vivo Slider Bar Necklace Gold

Argento Vivo Slider Bar Necklace Gold - Cost to Keep $50 (Keep)

Jewelry always fits right?! This is such a chic and simple necklace. The chain is made of tiny gold spheres that meet in the front with a slider. The slider allows you to make the necklace longer or shorter. The ends are accented with shiny gold bars. This piece is so versatile and I love when the length can be adjusted for different necklines. Wantable does a great job packaging the jewelry in these black velvet bags too.

Red Haute Halter Peplum Top, M

Red Haute Halter Peplum Top, M - Cost to Keep $78 (Return)

Well, this one was not meant to be. I’m definitely a fan of the pattern and colors and I can even handle the ruffles. I’m not a fan of showing my bra straps and no matter what, I couldn’t hide them in this top. I know...strapless right? Not for me. I could have probably used a size larger to prevent the gaping in front but then I feel the ruffles would have added a lot more bulk to my midsection. And, this says dry clean only which isn’t really something I want for a casual top.

Co-Lab Soho Triple Satchel Dusty Lavender

Co-Lab Soho Triple Satchel Dusty Lavender - Cost to Keep $68 (Return)

Another item that almost made the cut. I like the dusty lavender color and the super soft material. The size is great too! It’s big enough to fit a 13” laptop and a tablet. Inside, there are two magnetic closure pockets and a small compartment in the middle. The strap is adjustable and even removable. But, this bag doesn’t sit up on its own and it doesn’t zip closed so I can see myself with lots of purse tipping/dumping out scenarios and those just aren’t pleasant.

The Verdict: It is so convenient to be able to try on clothes on at home, with my existing wardrobe, and on my own time. Plus, it is so fun to receive so many items! I’m happy to have gotten 2 accessories to try this month and, even though most of the clothing didn’t work for me, I’m glad to have tried some different styles. This month I’ll make sure to leave some feedback to help my stylist next time. Since I only kept 2 items, I didn’t receive the 20% discount, but my $20 styling fee was applied to my purchase. For $20 a month (which also includes free shipping and returns), Wantable Style Edit is a low-risk way of shopping for clothes in the comfort of your home. I’ve requested a few things on the Stream feature (mentioned earlier) recently, so I’m looking forward to some of those pieces showing up.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $475. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $360 for the whole box. That's a discount of about 24%.

Oh, I would definitely keep that Wantable tunic, if I were you! Fits you perfectly.

I love the jeans you kept! What is with all the shirts that require a strapless bra? I am to busty to wear them and it is so frustrating!

Yes, I agree with the keep/return decision.

The boyfriend jeans are super cute on you.

I love the skinny jeans! I bought a pair that look almost identical (different brand) and I had to keep hiking them up too (annoying!!!), but a skinny belt completely solved the problem. I love the Peplum top on you , but agree that if I can’t wear a bra with straps and it’s dry clean only both are deal breakers. Necklace is gorgeous. Great review!
