20% off coupon

Included in my box was a coupon for 20% off a Cat & Jack baby or toddler apparel purchase! They also included a packing slip.

sleeveless bodysuit

Cat & Jack Sleeveless Bodysuit - Listed Retail Value $4.99

Last quarter, the tags on the items didn't have a price on them but this quarter they do! I can give you a definitive retail value for everything this time. This little navy bodysuit has gold metallic aviators, stars, and lightning bolts. This is cute and versatile! Also, I didn't realize this, but it looks like Cat & Jack items are made with at least 30% polyester material made from recycled plastic bottles!

orange shorts and bibdana

Cat and Jack Peace Soft Orange Shorts – Listed Retail Value $4.99

FYI – none of these items have been released for sale yet so I can't give you links to purchase them.  I love these little shorts - they're very soft and I think they're an adorable shade of orange for Summer.

Cat and Jack Striped Bibdana - free gift

Every box from Cat & Jack includes a free gift. Last quarter it was a pack of Pampers wipes; this quarter it's a little bibdana. It's actually one of my favorite items in this box! It's cute, goes with most outfits, and is so helpful for my drooly, teething 7-month-old.

tee shirt body suit

Cat & Jack Graphic Short Sleeved Bodysuit – Listed Retail Value $4.99

Bright colors and neon accents are definitely my style for my kids' clothes, especially in Summer, so this grey tee with chartreuse graphics and snaps is great for us.

pants

Cat & Jack Striped Pocket Pants - Listed Retail Value $6.99

These pants are so freaking cute. They're really soft and match the previously shown tee shirt bodysuit! They have a chartreuse front pocket (like a hoodie does) and matching little ridge edges sticking out on the sides of the hips! So cute. They obviously go together into an outfit well, and I love it.

baby in outfit #1

It fits him perfectly and the legs are long enough that he'll get some good time to grow in these!

tee shirt and blue shorts

Cat & Jack Short Sleeve Tee & Blue Shorts Outfit - Listed Retail Value $11.99

I think this outfit is so precious! The tee kind of reminds a little of a trendy 70's vibe and the shorts are a super fun bright blue. The material for the shorts is a little more like a chino short than a soft knit like the other orange shorts. The orange shorts would work with this top, too! Love when they mix and match.

Baby in outfit #2

This outfit is so cute!

sleeveless jumper

Cat & Jack Sleeveless Romper – Listed Retail Value $7.99

This is going to be great for hot days in summer and when we're on walks outside and at the park. I like the subtle texture of this fabric.

baby in outfit #3

This also fits him well and I can cuff the pant legs, which is great because my babies are really tall/long and I love having extra length.

Verdict: I love Cat & Jack, so I am so thrilled that Target launched this box! It seems like a natural response to the quarterly BabyGap Outfit Box, and it comes in at a lower price point as well. This quarter's box included 7 items and the free gift bibdana. The items in this box are from new Cat & Jack collections that haven’t been released for purchase at Target yet! The designs are all really cute, bright, and playful. I love the items we got this quarter! Also, I know I’m not alone in hoping that they expand this to toddler sizes, as well! I'd love a Cat & Jack box for my 2-year-old, too.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, as of publication, you should get this season's box. Note that your box may change depending on whether you choose for a boy or girl (and also the sizes, but I think they send the same items in various sizing since they only go from 0-24 months right not).

Value Breakdown: Not including any value for the free gift bibdana, this box adds up to $41.94, which breaks even with the $40 cost. Normally I’d do an item-by-item value breakdown for you, but since this box breaks even, the amount you’re paying per item is basically just pennies different than the retail values above. From one perspective, you’re basically paying the same retail value for each item but if you did your own shopping you could select the pieces you want. On the other hand, these are exclusive items that have yet to be listed for sale from Target, so the only people who have their kids in these items are ones who bought this box. That may have its own kind of value to many people. Plus, I personally can’t deny the fun of having a surprise collection of clothing come in my mail, especially when it comes from a brand that I genuinely like almost everything from, like Cat & Jack. For me, I also get value from just not needing to go shopping. Jace automatically gets a mini, mix-and-match, seasonally appropriate collection of clothing. I still have to go dig through my toddler's old 9-12 month boxes to find things to fit Jace, and many of those are more appropriate for colder months, so that helps me for sure.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who found shopping with small children difficult. How great to have the clothes delivered to your door!

I wish the value was better. I mean that you are acting saving money for buying this box. When you return the items your account it credited? I assume it is that’s why everything is right on retail prices.
That being said your little boy looks adorable. I love how soft Cat and Jack clothes are.

What a cutie! I wish I would have known about this box when my daughter was that small. Hopefully they come out with toddler sizes soon!
