Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service. When you initially sign up, you take an in-depth survey that asks you about your clothing size, personal style, and price preferences. Your stylist handpicks five items based on your preferences within the survey. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping as well as free returns. If you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!
My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Stitch Fix may be completely different!
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Box April 2018 Review
This is the invoice that was included. It shows in detail the items selected for me and the brands, sizes, and cost of each piece. The total comes up to $269.50 after all the discounts if I opt to keep everything—which is a $106.50 total savings! That is like getting the Rebel Wilson and Colette tops for FREE!
As always, this handy sheet with a sweet note from my stylist, Candace, was included. I always appreciate the styling tips: they are so useful and inspiring! Candace is consistently thoughtful in her selections and uses my Pinterest to help her in styling me each month. I always appreciate what she sends me because it truly feels as though she is shopping with me in mind!
Also, I received this ad about the intimate pieces you can request in your Stitch Fix box as an “extra!’ You can also use your styling fee towards any extras you purchase which is pretty awesome!
Serena Cotton Shirt Dress by DM Collection, Size 22W - Cost to Keep $138
My photographer (this time around, my boyfriend) remarked on how much he loved this dress on me when I came out to do pictures. The dress is adorable and perfectly fits my kitschy/retro tastes. The dress has some stretch and will be a spring and summer mainstay, but also can translate to fall with tights, oxfords, and a cardigan to up the vintage vibes. The only issue with this dress for me is the price tag! Youch!
Ansa Off the Shoulder Knit Top by Colette, Size 3x - Cost to Keep $44
This is one of my favorite pieces sent to me this month! I don’t know about you guys, but I am over cold weather and eager for pool parties and my summer vacation! This top is the embodiment of summer! The top features a tropical theme in shades of coral, baby pink, sea foam, and teal. To my surprise, I love the off the shoulder detail as well. The top has ample stretch which is a plus as well. I paired this top with my go-to Bad Sandy heels, black mini skirt, red vinyl heart shaped bag, and pink rhinestone sunglasses for a killer warm weather look! This would look fantastic as well with red capris and sandals for a cruise ready look!
Gabriella Textured Knit Skirt by Rebel Wilsons X Angels, Size 2x - Cost to Keep $68
This is my second favorite piece in this month’s box. The color palette is similar to the Colette top as well. I am a sucker for a good pencil skirt and this one is absolutely gorgeous. The fabric is a stretchy, yet structured knit that hugs your body’s curves like a glove. I felt like the prettiest flamingo in this piece! I paired it along with the Rebel Wilson X Angels top that Candace picked out for me, but I could see wearing this with a short sleeved black button down and my bad Sandy Heels for a Rizzo from Grease look! I was very close to putting this in the keep pile, but I decided I would be limited in how I wear this skirt and couldn’t justify the price. Trust me, it was hard to part with this gorgeous skirt!
Raja Ring Strap Detail Knit Top by Rebel Wilson X Angels, Size 3x - Cost to Keep $58
Harness accents are a huge trend on everything from tops to bras to swimsuits, so I was excited to get this off the shoulder top in my latest Stitch Fix! The top is made from a stretch fabric and was a tad roomy on me. I would have liked to try the 2x, especially since the harness accents are not adjustable. I love this top because it can add a touch of va-va-voom sex appeal to even the most casual ensemble. This could be paired with high waist denim skinny jeans and sneakers or flats and you would still exude a Jayne Mansfield vixen quality effortlessly! The price is rather reasonable considering how versatile this piece is also!
Jalen Knit Bomber Jacket in Blush by Andrew Marc Performance, Size 3x - Cost to Keep $78
I am not the biggest fan of pale pink on me, but I must say that my stylist, Candace, created such a cohesive outfit by including this jacket to pair with the Rebel Wilson X Angel items! The jacket is made of an immensely thick material. It feels similar to a baby’s sleep suit. It was hard to roll up the sleeves due to the thickness of the jacket’s fabric. It felt like wearing a warm, soft, blanket, which I can get behind since it is still freezing here in the Tundra. That being said, I can’t foresee myself wearing this jacket aside from this outfit. I had to pass on it for those reasons.
Verdict: This month’s selections from Candace were fun, but I didn’t find them to be as personalized as month’s prior. I loved that she picked out an entire head to toe outfit for me with the two Rebel Wilson pieces and the bomber jacket, but the fit on the top and style of the jacket were off. I love that I can pass this information to my stylist and she will constructively utilize it for her May picks. She always references my Pinterest, so I cannot say enough to anyone interested in going with Stitch Fix to utilize it. It is a fantastic tool! I appreciate Candace’s constant energy she puts into sending me boxes tailored to my tastes and I can’t wait to see what the May box has in store!
