Splendies Women's Underwear Subscription April 2018 Review
Love Libby White Lace Thong, size XL
I'm not sure if they sent the XL knowing they run small or if this was a mistake, but either way, these fit just fine! I would never choose a white lacy thong like this, but they made me feel super sultry when I slipped them on. Since these are all lace, I'm going to have to pay special attention to them when washing, and they suggest that I hand wash them. That's probably not going to happen, but I'll toss them in a delicates bag and be sure to dry these flat to extend their life. I like that the wider sides don't dig into my hips and there's a cute little bow in the front as well.
Honeydew Maddie Mesh Bikini Undies in Red, size L - Estimated Retail Value $12.00 (Linked to the same style in a different color)
Ooooh- these are soooo cute! I really like the shape of these, plus the polka dots, the mesh, and the red all make them a touch saucy. The edges are trimmed in red lace, and the butt has ruching. I love a good butt ruche because I think it makes everything look more round and plump from behind. I'm familiar with Honeydew and have had their undies in the past, so I was excited to see these. They're made up of 90% nylon and 10% spandex for stretch and comfort. Another delicate pair that I'll have to be sure to take care of though.
Love Libby Tropical Floral Hipster Undies, size L
I am all about the hipster cut of these that have the wider sides, and really like the super soft and thin material used. The raw edge is also nice so that it's completely flat against your body and there isn't a bulky hem that may show through. These are 92% polyester and 8% spandex and super comfy to wear. The pattern is something I'd never choose on my own but is a fun splash of color for Spring.
The Verdict: Splendies sent me three mystery styles of undies and although they weren't ones I'd choose for myself, I liked them all! They all fit this month (yay!) so that makes me really happy. I could only find the one pair online but since their retail value is really close to the whole subscription cost, I'd say this is well worth it!
