BumpBoxes April 2018 Review

Each BumpBox has a focus or theme that's introduced by an info card. For me, this month is all about how to 'feed.' My baby is 6.5 months, so we're right in the thick of introducing new foods, exploring different flavors and feeding techniques, and establishing mealtime routines.

BumpBoxes also has an extensive online shop on their website. The shop operates on a reward points system, so you have the option of collecting points with each order or item that you review. Earn 1 Bump Boxes Point for every $1 spent. 100 Bump Boxes Points = $10 in the Bump Boxes Shop.

The BumpBoxes website also has other valuable resources like an ovulation calculator, due date calculator, and detailed overview of each week of pregnancy.

Berkley Green Baby Bottle, Toy, and Dish Wash, 16.5 oz - Retail Value $3.99

Safely formulated to remove breast milk, food, and other grime from bottles, toys, pump parts - you name it, this wash is super versatile. I love how gentle it is! The formula is also biocompatible, biodegradable, & harvested from renewable sources. This Free & Clear variety is completely unscented and incredibly concentrated. A little goes a long way. I found it to cut through grease and milk easily without leaving any residue. Just perfect!

Green Sprouts Fresh Baby Food Glass Cubes - Retail Value $16.00

These practical storage cubes make mealtime easy! Their tempered glass is perfect for the fridge and freezer, and the leak-proof, crack-resistant lids ensure freshness. I wound up making a batch of baby food to fill each cube, stuck them all in the freezer, and then removed one at a time to thaw on the counter. I also love that they're dishwater safe, durable, and stackable.

Green Sprouts Infant Spoons (6 Pack) - Retail Value $5.00

This set of six spoons features curved handles and tiny spoon tips that are perfect for little mouths. They're super lightweight and narrow -- ideal for these first few months of feedings. We are currently in the midst of incorporating some Baby-Led Weaning principles, and I even feel comfortable with allowing my babe to handle these spoons on his own.

Neat Cheeks Flavored Face Wipes - Retail Value $4.99

Flavored with Stevia, these wipes leave a light, naturally sweet flavor behind. Love the concept. My baby already tends to squirm and pull away a bit when I wipe his face after meal times, and I'd imagine that these will come in even more handy the older he gets. I must admit that it feels a bit off to me to be cleaning baby's face with a sweetened wipe, but these are effective and clean up messes with ease.

Earth's Best Organic Banana Blueberry Baby Food Puree, 4 oz - Retail Value $1.29

This puree blend contains a mix of organic bananas and organic blueberries only. My little guy loved it! The blend also comes in a pouch, so its extremely easy to transport when you want to take food outside of your home.

Yorba Organics Baby Lotion, 10 oz - Retail Value $11.95 (Out of Stock Online)

This completely natural lotion is rich, creamy, and gentle. It's made with Wild Harvested Kalahari Melon Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, and Baobab Fruit Extract to moisturize delicate skin. I've tried many products from Yorba throughout my pregnancy, and now, and I consistently find them to be top-quality. I love that this formula is thick and moisturizing without being greasy.

Verdict: This feed-themed box from BumpBoxes offered a really wonderful and perfectly-timed assortment. They really covered all the bases of this stage from food storage, utensils, clean-up, and the food itself. I'm just loving that everything is organic, all-natural, and perfectly safe for my lil' guy. The full-sized products are really nice to receive too. As much as a I appreciate trying out a new product with sample sizes, full-sized items are always preferred.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Your box may look different than mine depending on how far along you are in your pregnancy journey.

Value Breakdown: At $42.99 for the box + shipping, each full-sized item averages out to a value of $7.17.

Chelsea thank you for posting this. I was just about to order this for my daughter. I tried to do the chat option on the website and never received a response! I’m glad I seen your review and will definitely take my business elsewhere

It looks like the items in the box come out to about $43. Is it typical for the box to be about curation/item discovery, not any extra value over box cost?

Sorry to write this, but I’ve got to share my experience — the only reviews you can post about their website is through emailing their website!! No wonder they have great reviews every where… they don’t post the bad ones. Bump Box has really bad policies regarding subscription cancellations and gifted subscriptions!!! I’d just like people to know what I’ve been though. I’m pregnant for the first time, so I buy a 9 month subscription – and my mom orders me a subscription… but I can’t cancel mine. Bump Box won’t let anyone cancel their subscription. BB’s policy says you can’t cancel a subscription, for any reason (heaven help the poor moms who miscarry, or loss their job and can’t afford an extra $50 a month). So, the option they offer is changing one subscription cost to credit to spend on their website… really?! Such a scam way of dealing with customers. What horrible customer service. There is no reason for it; the subscriptions are not prepaid – it’s a month to month payment plan.
