BuddhiBox Jewelry May 2018 Review
An information card is included in each package detailing its contents. The front offers a motivational phrase that's the perfect size to tack onto the corner of your mirror as a daily reminder, and the back provides context around the symbolism and healing values of each item.
Both pieces of jewelry came in this small canvas drawstring pouch. They're so beautifully springy in color! I'll list values and explore each individual item below.
108 Amazonite Om Mala — Listed Value $70.00
This is the second string of mala beads that I've received in a Jewelry BuddhiBox, and I'm totally smitten over it. The soft blues, greens, and earthy brown tones of the Amazonite beads are so soothing and beautiful. The info card tells that Amazonite is used for healing and chakra calming, and I feel like I picked up on that vibe from the moment I pulled this necklace out of the box. I have it hanging on display in my kitchen to bless my space with its peaceful energy, but I can also see myself wearing it as a necklace sometimes!
Amazonite & Wood Bracelet — Listed Value $20.00
The coordinating bracelet to my mala necklace is a combo of Amazonite and wooden beads. I think the wood adds a really tasteful touch—they tone the whole look down a bit. I could even see a dude rocking this bracelet! I look forward to layering this piece with other beaded bracelets.
Selenite Pyramid — Listed Value $16.00
I received a selenite wand in last month’s BuddhiBox Essential Oils box, and I have it displayed out in the open where it can catch the natural sunlight. It’s so, so beautiful! It’s interesting to see how its glow differs when cut in a different shape; this one doesn’t have quite the same eye-catching sheen to it, but its pyramid cut is fascinating. For those interested in exploring crystal grids, pyramids are said to be a great centerpiece because they help collect and focus energy. If you’re not into crystal gridding, it’s also just cool to look at!
This selenite pyramid was also included in this month's BBEO. I gave that one to a friend who needed some healing energy, and I'm excited I now have one to keep.
Matr Boomie Sari Clutch — Listed Value $28.00
The way this clutch was packaged, I didn't know what to expect. Rather than reading the info card to figure out what I was about to open, I left it a mystery until I unpacked it. It was wrapped in green tissue paper and folded inside a really delicate fabric sack. I was SO impressed with what I found! This clutch is made from a recycled sari and is colored in rich orange and brick tones that are completely true to the warm colors that I'm drawn to. It's lined and has 3 zipped pockets, the outer two of which are decorated with tassels and beads. Very high quality. I can't wait to put this gorgeous clutch to use!
Sage Smudge Stick — Listed Price $4.00
A bundle of sage or a stick of palo santo is often included in BuddhiBox Jewelry boxes, and I love having them replenished with each box I receive. Sometimes I light sage in my home, but now that campfire and festival season is here, I'll definitely be bringing some along to burn at my campsite and/or toss into the fire for a natural bug repellant.
Verdict: I am so very impressed with the beautiful products included in this quarter's BuddhiBox Jewelry box. I adore the colors and peaceful vibe of both pieces of jewelry, I'm thrilled to have a selenite pyramid for myself, and I'm absolutely smitten over the sari clutch. And, a fresh bundle of sage is always welcome in my world! Using the list prices provided, I added the contents up to $138. That's a wonderful value for a $49.95 box.
