BohoBabe May 2018 Review
BohoBabe welcomes you to your box with this Thank You card, the reverse side of which includes a packing list with listed values. I love that you can tell from this insert that BohoBabe is a small operation, run with passion.
BohoBabe Arrow Wrap Ring — Listed Value $22.00
To kick off this month's goodies is a little adjustable arrow ring that wraps around your finger. It has a rose gold tone to it and arrived thoughtfully tied with some twine atop a business card for Sarah, the owner of BohoBabe. Often when I receive rings in boxes, they're gigantic and adjusting them to fit my small fingers causes them to be misshapen. I was pleased to find that this one fit perfectly on my ring finger without having to make any adjustments. I love that it's simple with a quirky spin!
PaperLoveBugs Cruelty-Free Gold-Dipped Feather — Listed Value $1.00 (Buy 15 for $17.00)
I also received a gold-dipped feather as a bonus in my last BohoBabe box. I stuck it upright in the soil of a succulent that sits my windowsill for a fun little decoration. I might share the love and pack this one up as part of a mother's day gift for one of my friends!
BohoBabe Mandala Floor Pillowcase — Listed Value $19.99
I am in love with this round pillowcase! Its mandala pattern matches the tapestry hanging in my bedroom almost exactly, so I'm pretty pumped to decorate my bed with this guy. The pompoms are my favorite part! The only unfortunate thing is that the pillowcase doesn't arrive with an actual pillow (though, to their defense, I'm not sure how they'd pack that up to fit in a BohoBabe box), so before I can put this decoration to use, I first have to go out and purchase one. It's a good lesson in delayed gratification, I suppose!
BohoBabe Layered Tassel Necklace — Listed Value $24.00
How pretty are the gradient tones on this necklace's tassels? This accessory has the vibe of a mala, but I get the sense it's just meant for fashion. Its ivory wooden beads are strung along a stretchy strand and its tassels are nice and full. I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of this piece!
BohoBabe Floral Headband — Listed Value $14.00
This cloth headband came just in time for the heat. I'm always looking for cute ways to pull my short hair back when the humidity hits, and this navy blue floral headband is spot on. It's made of a soft jersey knit and features crisscrossing bands that offer a turban-like look. Much easier than the complex hair scarf situations I try to pull off! I'm definitely going to get a lot of wear out of this headband.
The Verdict: This month's BohoBabe box features mostly exclusive products from their adorable online shop! A majority of them weren't available online at the time that this post was published, but they do have a lot of cute similar products to choose from. This month's box included fewer products than my last box, but I'd rather some months have a smaller shipment of nicely curated items than for BohoBabe to throw in any ol' thing just to make it feel fuller every time. Using listed values, I calculated the contents of this month's box to add up to $80.99. I'll admit that the ring and the necklace seemed a touch overpriced to me, but that's still an awesome value for $46.99 ($39.99 a month plus $7.00 shipping).
