The Zakka Kit March 2018 Review
The first thing you see when you open the box is the info card for the month and theme which is Cherry Blossoms!
The reverse side has all of the month's items listed out with a short description. This month has a total listed value of $28+ USD.
Blue Sakura & Bird Letter Set
This is a really pretty letter set featuring Sakura (aka Cherry Blossoms) on their branches, accompanied by a little bird against a pale blue background. The stationery is in the style of cloth and paper cutouts, so it almost has a 3D effect. There are 10 one-sided cards with a matching envelope for each so you can send a friend a note to celebrate Springtime!
Kodomo No Kao Sakura Rubber Stamp - Retail Value $4.95
Perfect for decorating your letter, you can use this lovely Sakura rubber stamp with pink ink! The wooden handle is 3/4 inches square and it stands a little over an inch tall.
Pinup Japan Sakura Washi Stickers
Another decorative item is this sheet of different metallic gold and pink-toned sakura on textured paper. There are two different size flowers, as well as single petals so they'll fit in any space you desire!
Sakura Art Print
Next is an art print designed in-house by Neko Box. It's the size of a postcard, so if you don't think you'll hold on to it, you can mail it to someone special.
Zebra Light Pink Mildliner - Retail Value $1.50
Then there's my all-time favorite highlighter, the mildliner from Zebra. It's dual-ended so you get a thin and a wide side to do highlighting and writing in one instrument. Of course, it's in the perfect pink shade too!
Frontia Pink Sakura Papers x2
These two sheets of paper are so beautiful and delicate, much like a cherry blossom! The watercolor and illustrative effects add to the classiness of this stationery. Use it to tuck a love note into your loved one's bag so they have something nice to open when they arrive at school or work!
Shinzi Katoh x Seal Do Sakura Washi Tape
Oooh- this is some of my favorite washi tape I've received in a while! Shinzi Katoh is a favorite Japanese illustrator and has been doing collaborations with Seal Do that are really cool! This is a simple cream tape with pale pink cherry blossoms all over it. Use it to seal the envelopes of your letter set!
Verdict: This month's Zakka Kit was so pretty and such a great theme for Spring! The cherry blossoms in Washington DC just started blooming earlier in the month, so this delivery was aptly timed! I got 7 different stationery items with a strong theme for $26.49 that has a total listed value of at least $28.00, so I saved a little change.
