When you sign up, you fill out an extensive style profile. They ask what kind of items you would like to receive along with size, color, style, and price point preferences. Each category is ranked with a like, dislike, or love. There is also a space to leave notes for your stylist. By the end, your stylist should have a very good idea of what you like and don’t like.

Each edit includes 5-6 clothing and accessories items picked for you by your stylist using your style profile. You have 5 days to try everything on and to send what you don’t want to purchase back in the included prepaid envelope. My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Wantable Style Edit may be completely different!

Wantable Style Edit March 2018 Review

Wantable Style Edit now offers a package frequency option. You can receive edits when you want, whether that’s ongoing, seasonal, or on demand. They included a nice card to explain.

I didn’t have a chance to include feedback before I returned my items last month so let’s see how that reflects on this month’s shipment:

Wantable included a $25 off coupon for Winc. Check out our Winc reviews and save $20 off your first box!

Each edit includes a booklet with a note from your stylist and an invoice. This month, my stylist Christina sent me 6 clothing items and 1 accessory.

And here’s my invoice. If I were to keep the entire box, the $425 total would be discounted $105 (20% off + $20 styling fee deducted) for a total of $320.00. With this discount, each item would cost an average of $45.71.

Wantable also includes a prepaid return envelope for any items I don’t want to keep.

Let’s start with two pieces I paired together:

Lemon Tart - Snake Print Minka Top, M

Lemon Tart - Snake Print Minka Top, M - Cost to Keep $58 (Keep)

I requested this top in my Stream and I’m so glad that my stylist was able to include it. I think this is my favorite piece this month! I love the subtle pattern with greys, tans, and blushes and the button details on the sleeve and back are so cute. The fabric is smooth and stretchy and the top has a built-in shelf bra so I don't have to worry about bra straps showing. Isn’t the split back so cute?! I love that it’s a way to bring a little sass to a look without showing too much. I can always layer a cami underneath for times I don’t want to show my back.

Dear John - Gisele High Rise Skinny, Java, 28

Dear John - Gisele High Rise Skinny, Java, 28 - Cost to Keep $88 (Return)

I’ve paired the precious Minka top with these high-waisted skinnies. The deep wash and rise make them super flattering and I like the slight feathering at the hip. I’m not sure about the hem though. I don’t mind a raw hem but these aren’t evenly cut. Plus, these jeans are slightly loose and I worry that they will get baggy as I wear them.

Beach Lunch Lounge - Clarice Button Front Shirt, Blue Denim, M

Beach Lunch Lounge - Clarice Button Front Shirt, Blue Denim, M - Cost to Keep $58 (Keep)

I love the cool, silky feel of this Tencel shirt. I like the raw hem here because it is symmetrical and the hidden button panel and roll-tab sleeves give a tailored feel to the top. Though there isn’t much stretch, the cut fits easily over my arms and shoulders with ample room to move around. I’ve tried it two ways for you in the photos: 1) Classic style with sleeve rolled and buttoned with the tabs 2) Tied up with the sleeves down. I’m really liking the tied up look with a pair of high-waisted jeans. I need to hit this top with my steamer to release some of the wrinkles, but I like that it doesn’t need to be perfectly smooth.

Here is another outfit with two items from this box:

Z Supply - Sleek Pocket Tee, Black, M -

Z Supply - Sleek Pocket Tee, Black, M - Cost to Keep $38 (Keep)

Last month, I received this shirt in grey washed cotton and felt that the pocket was too droopy looking. This pocket has the same cut but, since the shirt is black, it doesn’t stand out as much. This one is also a rayon/spandex mix so it’s slinky and smooth. The cut is great because it swings away at the waist and plays down any thickness there. I think the curved hem is flattering and makes it a touch longer in the front and back so I could get away with wearing this with leggings. It has a bit more polish to it than last month’s and is a perfect layering tee for spring.

Kut from the Kloth - Mia Skinny Promising Wash, 6

Kut from the Kloth - Mia Skinny Promising Wash, 6 - Cost to Keep $89 (Keep)

I paired the tee with these skinny, mid rise jeans. The inseam (31.5”) is perfect for wearing with sandals or boots and the wash gives it a slightly destructed finish without having holes. They feel so soft and I love that they don’t get saggy in the back after a wear or two. These will probably be my go-to jeans for the spring.

Natural Life - Soft Intermingle Shirring Tunic, Grey, M

Natural Life - Soft Intermingle Shirring Tunic, Grey, M - Cost to Keep $48 (Return)

I love a good tunic but this one just isn’t for me. The fabric is a super soft, loose weave knit that is lightweight and comfortable. I don’t like the ruching though. I feel like it brings so much attention to the beltline and makes me look thicker. Plus, it just isn’t very exciting and I'm already keeping so many things that I love.

W. by Wantable - Long Tassel Necklace

W. by Wantable - Long Tassel Necklace - Cost to Keep $46 (Return)

I’m such a sucker for jewelry! This long necklace has the glitziest gold colored beads and a pretty dark copper tassel. I have paired it with the Clarice top and the tunic above to give an idea of length. I already have a couple of tassel necklaces and I think this one is best suited for warmer toned clothing, which I don’t have a lot of. With hesitation, I’m going to send this pretty little velvet pouch of sparkles back.

The Verdict: It is so convenient to be able to try on clothes on at home, with my existing wardrobe, and on my own time. Plus, it is so fun to receive so many items! My biggest problem this month was that my stylist did such a great job that I wanted to keep nearly everything! I made some tough choices, but I ended up with one of my best edits yet. Since I only kept 4 items, I didn’t receive the 20% discount, but my $20 styling fee was applied to my purchase. For $20 a month (which also includes free shipping and returns), Wantable Style Edit is a low-risk way of shopping for clothes in the comfort of your home. And honestly, I believe leaving detailed feedback has helped the stylists peg my style. Hopefully, they can continue to help me find new pieces that build my wardrobe and maybe even help me to broaden my style.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $425. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $320 for the whole box.
