Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Sticker

There’s not a traditional information card with this subscription, but you get a couple of other inserts.

Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Wine Voucher

I also got this coupon code for NakedWines.com!

Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Rope

From the Field Chewy the Hemp Rope – Retail Value $2.99

This really is just a hemp rope in a bag of catnip. You can see the rope itself outside the packaging below. My cats love these things (this is our third or fourth one and they never get tired of receiving new ones).

Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Salmon

Purebites Freeze-Dried Salmon, 0.92 oz. – Retail Value $5.29 (found on sale here for $3.89)

My cats are not super into the freeze-dried meat. This smell was interesting to them (it smells like fish food…). But only Sneaky and Angus actually ate it.

Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Mouse

Toyshoppe Playables with Catnip Canvas Cotton Mouse

I could only find this for sale from a website in Dubai (I think?). I don’t think pricing there (including shipping…) would be reflective of what a US customer would be willing to pay. Anyway, this is a catnip plush with some different fabric textures, which is something my cats are definitely fans of.

Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Snail

Sergeant’s Crazy Claws Speedy Snail

This is another one that is out of stock everywhere. It has a ring on a string that you pull and the toy will vibrate. My cats are not so into the vibrating toys but Mr. Kitty was happy to snuggle with this when it was not moving. The vibration mechanism makes it a little heavy for tossing around.

Gratuitous kitty photo time!

Angus liked these. I think the look on his face in the second photo is great.

Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Madison 1 Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Madison 2 Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Madison 3

Here is a story about Madison in three photos: (a) lack of enthusiasm, (b) kitty tongue, (c) rolling around playing.

Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Monkey 1

Monkey will sniff just about anything, but he is not food-motivated at all.

Instead, he’s all about the catnip.

Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Sneaky 1

Obligatory photo of Sneaky eating my fingers along with a treat.

Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Sparkles 1 Pet Treater Cat Pack March 2018 Sparkles 2

Mr. Kitty is not amused.

Verdict: I couldn’t find all the items in the March 2018 Pet Treater Cat Pack for sale online.  However, there were four items, so you get an average value of about $3.25 each, which seems reasonable considering the treats are sold for more than that and the hemp rope is pretty close to that value.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you’d receive April's package as your first shipment.

New Deal: Use coupon code PT-CATMAT to get a free cat mat with your first Pet Treater cat box!

Value Breakdown: At $12.99 per month for this subscription, you are paying approximately $3.25 per item.

Apparently customer service is nonexistent in this company. AND when you ask for a manager, someone else, that isnt possible. KIND of in-genuine. Looking to make customers, and spatting on people. Truly do not go hand in hand. Well I have done a number of research. This owner is bits and pieces of lots of companies. The in house 2 employees that I interacted with were extremely disrespectful. Supposedly trying to compete with barkbox? No one even wanted to try to make me happy. That is how businesses fail.

I was going to try the box, but I was unhappy to see that I can use only one coupon code at a time (not both of the two you provide), so I won’t be bothering now.

I cancelled my sub. I requested that my cat not receive these freeze dried prod and they sent them again, so more treats my cat won’t eat. Received some nice cat items, but were most interested in the treats.

I don’t think this subscription takes requests — you get what you get. And it is often freeze-dried meat.

Some of the other cat subscriptions also send freeze-dried meat, but not all the time, and you can request “no treat” boxes from at least KItNipBox and I think also Meowbox.

I chatted with them and they said they marked my account. Plus I put a request in the My Account section. I tried. Unfortunately there is little point in receiving this box if the main reason I subbed was for the treats.

One of my favorite parts about this sub is the different cat sticker you get each month. I know it’s just a decal, but it’s so much fun to see what it’s going to be each month. The back of my laptop screen is now covered with all these! 🙂

This is my second month of this subscription. And again, my cats won’t eat the treats .

Freeze dried meat comes in a lot of cat subscription boxes now. It is not something my cats like all that much. Sneaky is on prednisolone for her asthma and that makes her eat just about anything. But the rest are really not fans. And even Sneaky will refuse it after awhile.

I get the idea, that single-ingredient treats without preservatives have better ingredients, but if the cat won’t eat them, there’s not much of a point.
