It would be nice if you did a follow up article since Nerd Block did not do a relaunch in 2018 like they said they were going to do.

Sadly, any time the same company starts trading under a new “improved management” name/team, it’s just so they won’t have to pay the old name’s bills. #Just sayin’…

I used to get a Nerd Block and a Horror Block and they just had the worst customer service. When I was sent duplicate items in each block one month (Buffy figurines and I’m not a Buffy fan), their response was that I should eBay them. I don’t subscribe to boxes to do that. They never made it right and I canceled both boxes eventually.

Yeah there are going to have to work really hard and be pretty amazing to get ANY customers. Plus I saw talk of a class action lawsuit from all the previous customers who never got refunds or items. I feel like it has failed before it even began.

That said, before they fell apart, Nerdblock was awesome. But i’d have to see like a solid 6 months of good reviews from multiple sources before I’d even consider signing up for a 1 month plan.

Interested in keeping an eye on them but I don’t trust them enough (at least not yet) to spend any money on them

If they would do something to make up for the old company’s mistakes then i might try them again but i am still owed one horror block. I loved this company but they just did so many people wrong.

I highly doubt I’ll be spending any money with them.

It’s a new company but they still kept the Need Block name, they should have gone under a different name cause, bad reputation.

Right? It seems like such a terrible idea – the name has really bad associations. I was a subscriber to the original for awhile (cencelled a couple months before everything went down for budget reasons thank heavens) and loved it. But I certainly won’t be signing up any time soon.

This is like naming your brand new energy company Enron or your new luxury liner the Titanic, no one is interested in being associated with something that crashed and burned.

They never sent me the last box that was paid for, they never even replied to my email. Not interested in doing business with them again.

I’m glad their back to add to a depleted geek box industry, but there’s no way I’m subscribing to more than a single month at a time after the way they abruptly closed last year.
