Side Stripe Track Pant in Night Sky, Size L - Retail Value: $98.00, Cost to Keep: $39.20

I am OBSESSED with these pants! I love a tailored athletic look that you can pair with sneakers or with a nice heel. I styled these with a basic tee, but this would look great with a turtleneck or solid white button-up. These fit like a dream, they are 100% polyester and had a structured look that made these feel very sophisticated. The elastic waistband made these extra comfortable, they really moved with me, and brought in that more athletic look to the overall design. I can't wait to try new ways to style these pants, plus, they will be a great spring transition style!

Lantern Sleeve Sweater Dress in Jubilee, Size L - Retail Value: $129.00, Cost to Keep: $51.60

I love anything red and these lantern sleeves are really calling my name this season. The dress itself was a miss for me in terms of fit. I thought it was a bit too clingy and short for my lifestyle, and the fabric, a nylon/spandex/wool blend was pretty itchy for a dress. I do love the structure and the awesome sleeves, I could see myself wearing this to work with knee high boots and would transition well into a date night look as well.

Cascading Petal Choker Dress in Navy Blue, Size 14 - Retail Value: $149.00, Cost to Keep: $59.60

I noticed, when adding clothes to my closet on the Infinite Style site, that you can mark something as a priority. I tested it out for this dress and was excited to see that it came in my next box! I have been on the hunt for a dress for my brother's rehearsal dinner this spring and thought this would be a great option to try. I was extremely impressed with the quality of this dress. It was structured, the 100% polyester fabric was sturdy, and there were so many little details that I loved. The buttons on the neck and the side slits make this dress a standout piece. The petal pattern is timeless but the choker neckline and wide sleeves make this cut very modern. I do need to size down to make the fit a bit more structured to my figure, but overall this dress gets a big "KEEPER" from me!

The Verdict: I am really loving the boxes I have received from Infinite Style by Ann Taylor so far! I have a pretty particular style and love shopping so I enjoy that I am in control of what goes into my closet. Plus, I discovered that you can click on certain items in your closet to mark them as a priority, super helpful if you want to receive a suit set for an upcoming interview. This service is on the higher-end in terms of pricing, if you are on a budget like me, sending your returns back quickly to get up to three boxes in one month will help you get more bang for your buck! Even if you don't keep the pieces from each box, you can try on, wear to an important meeting or function, and send back for free!

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? Each box is customized for you so a box will ship within a few days of building your closet profile!

Value Breakdown: This box costs me $95, but I received a total retail value of $376. I can wear and return for free, or have the option to purchase any of the three pieces for a discounted price.

You look great but honestly the clothes look like they’re from the 80s

I might find a value breakdown like this a little more useful:

– $95 a month for 9 items is $9.50 to rent each item. (adjusted for actual items received and not counting ones that didn’t fit or didn’t wear.)

For any item kept:

Used retail value (maybe -20%) for used, not new. Compare that to the cost to keep + broken down cost to rent. Any current sales should be listed for comparison as well.

For example, to buy the cascading petal choker dress cost $69.10 ($9.50 + $59.60) for ~rv$119 (rv new -20% for used.) It is currently listed final sale at Anne Taylor’s website for $39.88 (though sold out.)

Taryn,

I loved your last review and subscribed because of it. First box arrives today.

The clothing rental model is ideal for many people (small closets, minimalist lifestyle, don’t have time to shop, etc.) so I really don’t feel comparisons like “I could buy 3 tops per month for this price!” are helpful.

I don’t want to accumulate more stuff (especially random cheaply made clothes like Golden Tote), and I want to wear nice clothes that don’t repeat. I can’t be the only one, since clothing rental services are proliferating.

Great review and I love seeing how the clothes fit on you.

I have a similar logic for renting DVDs from netflix. I’m not the sort who watches a movie more than once or twice. And I have a small home

Wow, the price seems steep for clothing rental then plus you have to pay to keep used clothes. I would probably bite if it was Le Tote pricing. Not at $100/mo for used clothes that I’d still have to pay $50/piece to keep.

I tried Gwynnie Bee for its free month, and reached the same conclusion. It didn’t make budget sense, especially when there is no guarantee everything will fit perfectly or look good. The discount on the clothes wasn’t enough to make it worth it – I didn’t end up anything from the boxes. (It wasn’t going to save me wardrobe space either, I realized, without many more items at a time that coordinated.)

However, Gwynnie Bee has the outlet shop and that is great. I bought four items from there and love them all, including a couple dresses that retail for over $100 but I got for $10 or less.

So if you ever see something in the outlet you want, it’s a great time to sign up for the free month. 🙂
