FYI - if you want to pick your clutch pattern, make sure to upgrade your FabFitFun subscription to annual!

And here are a few of us modeling the clutch:

From Anna:

I really love the fact that this bag is double-sided! Once we get closer to summer, the pink, palm-printed side will likely take center stage more often, but for now, I'm digging that I can just change the direction of the fold and have a really smart-looking mint-green clutch.

From Sara:

This clutch is the perfect color-pop to my typical neutral outfits. The mustard faux leather compliments black and gray perfectly, but I can also show off the floral patterned canvas for a bigger statement accessory.

From me:

I'm ready for Spring and Summer weather, so these patterns and colors are so bright and fun right now! I decided to try mixing patterns, and I thought the floral clutch added the right amount of pop to this maxi.

And in case you missed the first spoiler, this box will also include:

ISH Beauty Lip Statement Palette - Retail Value $42

This palette was done in collaboration with Alex Garza.

With these nudes and pops of color, your lips will create a statement! These 11 intensely pigmented shades and 1 tinted lip topper are enriched with rose extracts, shea butter, jojoba oil, and aloe vera for extra moisture and easy wear. Mix any shades to create infinite combinations of lip colors, customized by you! Add the tinted lip topper for a hint of sheen and a touch of added moisture. Paraben free. Gluten free. Cruelty free

Here are all the shades swatched:

The pigment is great throughout the palette, and the formulas are moisturizing and creamy, too!

So disappointing! Cancelling

Cancelled…all the boxes have disappointed me with the exception of the winter box in 2016. Everything is cheap. That salted thing with the grater, I found on Alibaba for $1.20. That is what it cost the manufacturer per unit plus packaging. Most items are made in china dirt cheap. The retail value of the boxes is super overinflated for the quality you are getting. The only things I have loved is the DL & Co. Candle and the passport holder/luggage tag..every wrap or scarf I received piled immediately or shed to a point I threw them out within the first wear..I missed the modcloth one…but my feeling is that one would do the same as their sweaters pile….all cheap junk. The Kate Sommervile exfoliant burnt my face…not for me anymore. Rachel Zoe is better quality, but that is hit or miss as well. Think about it, these companies are making a killing off these boxes, marketing them as a “deal”. Um nope..you put $20 worth of crap product in the boxes and your profit is 70%. Won’t do another box loaded with cheapness.

I was wondering do any of you know what someone might get if they chooses the surprise bag in the add on section?

I love suprises and I am interested in trying it but I didn’t know if it would be junk or something worth having.

Any comments appreciated.

Thank you ladies for modeling the clutch for us. I bet you had fun with that. You three are my favorite three models and all the ones that you use. It certainly made me want this box.

The rose gold items in FFF boxes always look so cheap to me. Does anyone else think so? I’ve been subbed for a year and haven’t been happy with any of the jewelry over that time :-/

The orange bag is my favorite, but screams fall, not spring/summer, so I might go with the pink/teal one…. Decisions, decisions…

Amber

I have been a subscriber to FFF for almost three years, and I have loved every box until this one. This one looks like really cheap quality compared to what we have received in the past. I will be sitting this one out.

Omg I love the peach earrings, all of the clutches are beautiful and the beach candle sounds yummy I hope I can get that one, as well as the guava lotion! If I order a box tomorrow can I still have a selection choice?

Lia

I just went from annual to seasonal. This box is underwhelming for me and I almost cancelled but FFF customer service is great and this is the first box that I am not too keen on so I stayed but only as seasonal. However since “select” is an annual perk, I was told I may not get what I selected – that would be a shame, but I will take my chances. Just cannot spend $179 + taxes right now

Nicole

Ok just got access to add ons and there is nothing decent left. Can we just laugh about the fact that they are trying to sell those doucce eyeshadow palettes for $49! 🙄

Underwhelming box so far….

I’m having the weirdest reaction to these spoilers. I’m looking at them thinking “ooh pretty” and I want this box, even though the rational part of my brain is screaming “no! don’t do it!”

Lip palette- I love to rock a bold lip. I could have so much fun with this palette, and yet I just treated myself to some really nice, bright, NARS lipsticks.

Candle- I have a candle problem. I really do. The Manhattan Beach candle is calling to me. I have a shelf full of candles to burn, but oh how I want this.

Clutch- Again, I own several clutches like this, thanks to all the boxes I’ve gotten over the years. I need another clutch like I need another hole in my head. But the colors are so pretty. Still, none are as pretty as the bright, multi-colored one I once got from Julep.

Jewelry- I have no trouble saying no to the bracelet. I really like the black tassel earrings, though I highly doubt that I can pull that look off. With my thicker glasses, short hair, and love of wearing a bold lip, I really can’t go beyond a stud earring, otherwise it all becomes too much.

Beauty- I’m intrigued by this lip mask idea. I also love anything from Korres. I have plenty of lotions and body butters.

I don’t need anything here. I just want it so badly.

Julie

You could probably pull off the tassles if you match them to the earrings. Like a darker Kat Von D and the black tassles?

Evie

I am thinking about adding the tassel earrings and turning them into pasties.

THAT’S AWESOME!!!

I was up for renewal, and I had a few add ons (love living proof products), but the box itself didn’t interest me, so I cancelled. Realized I’d be spending $179 just to have access to the add ons, and it wasn’t worth it. Still recommend the box, but this season’s is underwhelming, for me. Too many brands lately that only appear in sub boxes, and that jewelry choice (to me, if you like it, no offense meant, just not my style) is horrible. Hope next one is better

Deanne

Wow I’m so glad I cancelled. The biggest irritation for me is the insane price the jewelry is supposedly worth. The quality of everything can literally be bought for under ten dollars and assembled at home from Michaels craft store. It’s so insulting. They are making a killing selling this stuff from China.

To the lovely model in the green maxi dress; where is the dress from. Love it!

I’m not impressed by any of the spoilers. FFF used to be my favorite box, but the Winter one was just OK for me and this one is an easy pass. Shame, but I’m glad I didn’t commit to an annual sub tbh.

Charlie

So I got the Black Tassel Earrings (my husband picked it) and I like the earrings better than a bracelet with LOVE inscription it is so cheesy! Don’t get me wrong, both selections are meh. Then Manhattan Beach candle, the body butter, and the In Bloom clutch. I was thinking of the Sahara clutch too but I just couldn’t take my eyes of In Bloom even though it is white… Anyhow so disappointed with this box.

I just hit Upgrade Me in my subscription and they just billed me 179$. Then I saw these spoilers. It sucks!

I’m just Curious what everyone picked for their clutch? I picked the Mint/Peach, Rose Gold and body butter, Manhattan Beach for the Candle. I’m also very disappointed in this box! The White Clutch screams Elderly to me…. the orange and Yellow Screams Fall to me… The Braclet I hope it fits I’m usually a 7 and a half but this says 7. The only thing I’m actually liking is the Lip Pallet. Other then that very disappointing!!!

LB

I agree with you on the other 2 patterns of the clutch but everytime I look at the mint one I can’t help but think of those 80s/early 90s wicker Florida couches. I’m not sure how old you are (and I’m probably showing my age) but think Golden Girls or Jerry Seinfeld’s parents’ retirement community home in Florida. Don’t get me wrong, the patterns are very tropical and cute, but I’m just not really drawn to any of them and I get a weird thought about each one. LOL. I chose the orange/yellow which is VERY unlike me. I’m hoping it does work as a pop of color for my mostly gray/black wardrobe or is at least easy to find if I throw it into a bigger bag. 🙂

Very Disappointed in this box!

I picked the silver bracelet, body cream, paradise purse and the beach candle!
Kinda glad my annual subscription is now complete. Will try a different box next.

michele

Not really thrilled with this box. Maybe because I am not in the spring mood here in the gloomy northeast.

Earrings – was going to get black and then said, get the peach. It’s different. I like the two tone thing as well. If the black was black & silver, I would have gotten that.

Lip masks – I actually own a lot of lip masks, so I went with the body butter. My skin is so dry.

Candle – I went with linen. I like the jar it comes in. But the scents were really not appealing to me overall

Clutch – I dislike ALL THREE in different ways. Either the patter was awful or the colors (I am having flashbacks to the 1980’s with that Paradise color scheme). Bloom was nice, but then they had the white faux leather and that will be a pain to clean (if it was navy, that would have been the one). I went with the orange one, as i did like the pattern, and even though orange is one of my least favorite colors, it will work nicely with jeans and being casual.

Lip palette – I will never use this ever. It will go into a giveaway or swap pile.

This spring is awful. I am on an annual, so I am hoping summer and fall will be nice. I like being able to pick my own items/colors, but I don’t think it is worth another annual sub. I will cancel it.

Reply ButtonReply

LB

Hahahaha. YES! I could not agree with you more on the clutch colors. I was beginning to think I was the only one that thought of 80’s wicker furniture in Florida when I saw the paradise pattern and the white “leather” made the other one a no-go for me….so I ended up with orange which totally shocked me.

Reply ButtonReply

Suzanne

LB-That “mint” clutch does scream Florida!! I think you have to live their to choose that color. It looks like it’s a scrap from a curtain. I almost chose the orange until I zoomed in on a picture and noticed the color/texture of faux leather-looks so mustard orange. Ugh. It looks so cheap on that side. I picked the white bloom that’ll get dirty in no time.

Heather

It’s funny to see people hating on the candles, but that is the only item so far in this box I am excited about! I would have bought a 2nd one if I could. All the other items look really childish and kitchy this season. That jewelry is stuff you;d find at Claire’s for sure, and I know people are excited about the clutches, but I do not think the patterns are attractive at all, but more than that for me they are just so impractical. It seems like you could fit very little in it without it looking bulging and weird. Like, is it a purse just made for your phone and keys and a lipstick? If you put anything else in there it would not look cute. And what’s the point? Just not for me. But you can’t satisfy everyone with every item!

Reply ButtonReply

Kathleen

I’m thinking I might put my iPad mini or a book in there and a little packet of tissues, or just one of my ipsy makeup bags, to keep it more or less attractively shaped. Then it would go in my big purse or travel bag. I would def not put keys in there, though.

Reply ButtonReply

Heather

I take it back. Did a little research and found on their website these 8oz candles only have a 7 hour burn time!!! That is CRAZY fast for such a large candle. The quality must be really bad.

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

Based on the stated burn times for smaller candles on the Anderson Lilley site, I’d bet it’s a typo and should say 70+ hours.
