Love with Food is a monthly snack and food sampling subscription. They always have a variety of all-natural snacks, and they donate meals to a food bank for every new subscription (and every month you stay subscribed).

They offer several different options: a Tasting Box, Deluxe Box, and Gluten Free Box. They also have an Office Box for corporate snacking, which we're reviewing today!

Love With Food Office Box, October 2017

This is definitely the biggest subscription box I've ever received. Since this box is for sharing with your whole office or team, the box converts into a handy snack display, just a bit of assembly required.

Love With Food Office Box, October 2017

All of the snacks we received inside the box

Lots of subscription boxes seem to offer corporate snacking and corporate gift plans, but this is the first time I think we've ever reviewed one. The idea with the Love With Food Office Box is that you get the same healthy and natural snacks you expect from their other subscriptions, only in bigger quantities. All of their snacks are free of artificial colors and flavors, with no hydrogenated oils, no trans fats, no high fructose corn syrup. All products are either organic or all-natural.

Thanks to Love With Food's charitable program, each tray also donates 15 meals to those in need!

As you can see above, we received 11 different snacks in this box. They advertise at least 10 different varieties and 65 snacks in each box.

Barney Almond Butter Barney Almond Butter Nutritional Facts

Barney Butter Almond Butter, 6 Single Serve Packets - Buy a pack of 24 from Love With Food for $31.42 ($1.31 each)

I love these convenient little almond butter packets! They do need a good massaging before squeezing them out, but these are great for a variety of on-the-go type healthy snacking. I munched on mine with apple slices and some whipped honey from my last CrateChef review for a super healthy afternoon snack.

These would also be great with our next snack item:

Crackers

Crackers

Crackers

La Panzanella Multigrain Croccantini, 7 single serve packets – Buy 12 from Love With Food for $6.99 ($0.58/each)

These crunchy cracker type snacks are the perfect vehicle for almond butter, jam, cheese, honey, etc. They're fairly bland, but not really in a bad way: they remind me of water crackers and have a really great crunch. This is a much healthier snack than a packet of chips, and I like that you can eat them plain or dress them up.

Aloha Peanut Butter & Jelly Protein Bar Aloha Peanut Butter & Jelly Protein Bar Aloha Peanut Butter & Jelly Protein Bar Aloha Peanut Butter & Jelly Protein Bar Nutritional Facts

Aloha Organic Peanut Butter & Jelly Protein Bar, 5 servings – Retail $2.50 each

These plant-based protein bars sounded super yummy, but I have to admit the first taste was much more "yep, it's a protein bar" than anything else. They have that dense and chalky texture that all protein bars seem to have, with just a touch of peanut butter and sweetness. One bar definitely kept me filling full, though, which I always appreciate in a work snack since it keeps me from grazing on all the other treats that might be around.

Other folks who tried these also weren't wowed, so I'm glad we only received 4 of these to sample.

Brownie Brittle Salted Caramel Brownie Brittle Salted Caramel Brownie Brittle Salted Caramel

Sheila G's Brownie Brittle in Salted Caramel, 4 packets – Buy 20 for $18.99 from Brownie Brittle ($0.95/each)

We also only received 4 of these Brownie Brittle bags, but seriously, they could have sent 400! SO GOOD. These are thin and crunchy, with a nice salty/sweet thing going on from the caramel topping. Perfect for afternoon chocolate cravings or to pair with your coffee in the morning, and pretty much guilt-free at only 140 calories. Way healthier than grabbing a Twix from the vending machine, for sure.

These disappeared really fast; so fast that I had to double check our photos to make sure we'd actually gotten 4 bags.

RW Garcia MixtBag Tortilla Chips RW Garcia MixtBag Tortilla Chips RW Garcia MixtBag Tortilla Chips

RW Garcia MixtBag Tortilla Chips, 6 packets - Couldn't find this size for sale online

You can't go wrong with tortilla chips around here, as there is always plenty of extra guacamole and salsa from lunchtime Chipotle runs to snack on. These bags come with a mix of yellow and blue corn chips and clock in at 140 calories a serving.

These are pretty basic as far as tortilla chips go. Tasty, not too salty, and goes with pretty much anything. I snacked on mine with our next item:

Traditional Hummus Dip Traditional Hummus Dip

Wild Garden Traditional Hummus Dip, 6 packets – Buy a 6 pack on Amazon for $7.75 ($1.29/each)

Okay, so these shelf-stable hummus packets seemed a little weird to me at first. But that clever little triangle packet is genius because you can tear the corner off and squeeze your hummus directly on to your chips, which is great for office snacking.

While nothing beats fresh hummus, these tasted pretty good. They're very tangy, but don't contain any garlic or other spices that might offend your coworkers.

Mediterra Savory Bar with Bell Peppers & Green Olives Mediterra Savory Bar with Bell Peppers & Green Olives Mediterra Savory Bar with Bell Peppers & Green Olives Mediterra Savory Bar with Bell Peppers & Green Olives

Mediterra Savory Bar with Bell Peppers and Green Olives, 5 servings – Buy 12 on Amazon for $32.67 ($2.72/each)

These were the weirdest thing in the box for me; they're essentially savory granola bars. If you like olives, they're actually pretty tasty! My brain had a hard time reconciling their appearance with their flavor, though... I wanted to believe those dark bits were dried fruit instead of olives, and with every bite, my mouth was so confused.

All said, I appreciate that this is another snack that is under 200 calories with lots of protein and with lower sugar than many granola bars (only 2g). I think they'd be great crumbled on top of a salad or added as a soup topping. Or, y'know, put one inside a sweet granola bar wrapper and tape it back up to prank your coworkers. 😉

Madegood Chocolate & Banana Granola Bar Madegood Chocolate & Banana Granola Bar Madegood Chocolate & Banana Granola Bar Madegood Chocolate & Banana Granola Bar

MadeGood Chocolate Banana Granola Bar, 6 servings – Only available as a case of 6 boxes (24 bars) from Amazon for $23.94 ($0.99/each)

I've sampled these bars before from Love With Food and Ecocentric Mom, and I liked them more this time around. The banana flavor is very prominent but there's a good amount of chocolate throughout, too.

This company makes a variety of peanut and tree-nut free items, and are also non-GMO, gluten-free, and contain hidden veggies.

Bakery On Main Maple Multigrain Muffin Oatmeal Bakery On Main Maple Multigrain Muffin Oatmeal

Bakery on Main Maple Multigrain Muffin Oatmeal, 10 servings – Buy 50 packets on Amazon for $37.60 ($0.75/each)

Instant oatmeal is one of my go-to office breakfasts in the wintertime, so I was happy to see so many of these packets to be honest. This oatmeal is good, with an aromatic maple flavor and a pleasant multigrain taste. There's not an overwhelming amount of chia and quinoa, but it's enough to make it taste a bit different to me. We did find this to be pretty sweet, though, which may be a good or bad thing depending on your oatmeal preferences– definitely sweeter than Quaker to our taste buds.

Harvest Snaps Harvest Snaps Harvest Snaps

Harvest Snaps, 6 servings – Buy 12 from Love With Food for $28.91 ($2.41 each)

These are salty pea-shaped veggie chips, and they're delicious! Light and crunchy and definitely hits the spot when you have a potato chip craving, but with less sodium and fat, and more fiber. I think more protein, too; peas are notoriously high in protein for a veggie!

Carrot Mango Orange Wheatgrass Turmeric Chia Pouch Carrot Mango Orange Wheatgrass Turmeric Chia Pouch

Shine Organics Elevate Banana Carrot Mango Orange Wheatgrass Turmeric Chia Pouches, 4 servings – Buy 16 on Amazon for $27.04 ($1.69/each)

As the parent of a toddler, I have always had mixed feelings about fancy fruit pouches for adults. They're super convenient and definitely healthier than some snacks, but I just can't help thinking that it's kid food!

These were really good, though, and have me changing my mind a little bit. First off, I'll be the first to say that I could always use more fruit and veggies in my diet. The mango and banana are the most prominent; I didn't really taste any turmeric or get any graininess that you sometimes get from chia. You could definitely do worse for a 100 calorie snack!

Verdict: The Love With Food Office Box had an interesting variety of snacks! I thought there was really something for everyone here. Although this box was admittedly a little heavy on the oatmeal, that in particular has overall been popular and has been getting gobbled up pretty quickly. The overall amount of snacks feels appropriate for a small office setting if you want it to last about a month (although you can also subscribe to 2 trays per month!).

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. If you order by 12/1, your first Office Box will be the December box.

Coupon - When ordering 1 tray month-to-month plan - use code MSAFOREVER40 to enjoy $40 off every month. That's $89/mth for 65+ snacks.

Or, when ordering 2 trays month-to-month plan - use code MSAFOREVER80 to enjoy $80 off every month. That's $179/month for 130+ snacks.

Value Breakdown: For the $129.99/month price of the box to receive 65 snacks, you're paying about $1.99 per snack– but with our MSAFOREVER40 coupon to get every month for $89.99, that's about $1.38/snack! That seems pretty fair to me. If I total up the prices I was able to find online for these items, it's pretty close to that price point. While I do think you could save some cash by making a trip to Costco instead, the deal with our exclusive coupon code seems reasonable to me when I consider the time and energy put into sending someone to the store to buy snacks... not to mention all the time of asking people what they want and trying to make sure everyone is happy, having to buy in excess of these quantities to get the variety here, having to store the excess, and so on.

What do you think about the Love With Food Office Box? Could you see something like this being popular in your office or workplace?

The funny thing is that I put the Harvest Snaps I got in my tasting box in the breakroom at work nearly a week ago and they are still there! Nobody seems to want them.

The concept is cute, but realistically you can go to Costco and create your choice of snack array for much cheaper, per snack!

What an absolute rip off! You can get two of the frito lay party mix boxes (64 bags total) for less than $20 and I guarantee it would be a much bigger hit than these. Most people would prefer a bag of cheetos over some puffed snap peas any day and it’s literally 1/3 to 1/8 the cost.

I don’t like the Mediterra bars. Olives and sweeteners were never meant to go together in the same food item. (I happen to like olives.)

They were definitely an experience!
