PawPack is a subscription box for dogs. They are now owned by Pet GiftBox, and they’ve recently undergone a bit of rebranding. Treats are still all-natural and premium, but this box is now marketed more towards heavy chewers (like my dog!). For reference, my dog is a Rottweiler, who currently weighs about 87 pounds.
This is a review of the large (51+ pound) dog box ($31.5o per month).

Petchup Condiments Pack – Value $4?
This package size isn’t available on the Petchup site so I’ve had to estimate values. I assumed each one of these packets was about one serving for a large dog. These are condiments for your dog, intended to be put over kibble to make it more appetizing. I don’t know whether the box theme came first or whether they built it around this product, but this is definitely a fun inclusion (these are beef, salmon, pork, and turkey flavored).
Gaines Family Farmstead Sweet Potato Fries for Dogs (4 oz) – Value $5.50 (buy an 8 oz bag for $10.99)
I received some sweet potato strips from this brand in another dog box a few months back and Nyx could eat them without trouble (they are just dehydrated sweet potato) so I gave her a few of these and she was so excited (see her eating one below). It is always fun to get a treat Nyx can have, and these also fit the theme very nicely.
Cameron’s Organics Treat Hearts in Bacon Cheeseburger Flavor (8.05 oz) – Value $7.99
These are grain free and soy free. The first ingredient is chickpea flour, which is good for a lot of dogs with food allergies and sensitivities. These are made in the US and they are also organic. This brand is new to me – I always like finding out about new companies in subscription boxes rather than getting more of the same old thing. Plus, “bacon cheeseburger” is super fitting for the theme.
Rubber Soda Can Treat Dispensing Toy – Value $8.99?
This can toy (remove the label before giving it to your dog) is exclusive to TheGiftBox family of subscription boxes, so I estimated the value based on a similar product from Sodapup. This is made of a thick, strong rubber and once Nyx understands how treat dispensing toys work (we are still learning this as she has been off of treats for many years), she will probably be eating a lot of the sweet potato fries out of this can toy.
Burger Dog Toy from Pridebites – Value $9.99
Nyx is getting quite a collection of Pridebites toys. Their durability varies depending on her mood. I photographed her for five different dog subscription boxes in one day so this burger is still in good shape and she’ll get to play with it again. These allegedly float but I’ve never had a Rottweiler who liked water so we haven’t tested that out. Nyx does enjoy chewing on it and making it squeak, though.

Verdict: I calculated a value of $36.47 for the September PawPack. I’m not sure I would call the burger toy a great one for heavy chewers (it has foam instead of traditional stuffing), although the can toy was appropriate. Nyx enjoyed the burger toy, though, and we were definitely happy to see treats that don’t aggravate her IBD. Plus, the value was about $5 over the cost of the box (though I did have to estimate some of the prices).
