A Beautiful Mess Final Messy Box Review – August 2017

Messy Box was a monthly scrapbooking subscription from A Beautiful Mess. Each month, you’d receive cards, papers, and other supplies designed exclusively for subscribers.

(FYI – this is the last shipment for this subscription and sadly, this is the final Messy Box forever. The good news: they have a new box called Oui Fresh up their sleeves!

Each shipment is organized around cohesive colors and patterns. The individual designs are unique, but they look like they’re all part of the same family.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Messy Box

The Cost: $24.99

The Products: items to scrapbook with, including paper and cards, stickers, embellishments, and special items.

Ships to: U.S. and International ($3 shipping fee per box for International subscribers).

Set of 4 Scrapbooking Sheets (9″ x 12″)

Wow- they are really outdoing themselves for the last ever Messy Box. I love love love all of the designs in this box, especially the moon pattern! I’m definitely hanging that one up on my corkboard (next to my “You Belong Here” print from Happy Mail this month).

Set of 4 Large Journal Cards (4″ x 6″)

As I said- I can’t get enough of that moon motif, so this journal card may become a large bookmark or even a postcard to send off. I love that they’ve mixed pops of color with black and white designs.

Set of 8 Small Journal Cards (3″ x 4″)

Keeping it positive as they exit, Messy Box reminds us that “of quartz” they love us, and they are goin’ “off the grid”. I can’t decide between the cactus, quartz, and arrow patterns! They’re all so good.

Set of 12 Square Journal Cards (3″ x 3″)

As always- they have 12 small square cards that are double-sided to use any way you choose. I like to write notes on them when I mail out packages! Awwww- the “peace out” card! Is it a subtle goodbye?

Messy Box also throws in some extras to take your scrapbooking game to the next level.

Puffy Dot and Heart Stickers

The colors here are awesome! I’m obsessed with the weird mustard yellow color paired with the salmon-y pink!

Positive Vibes Stickers

You get two sheets of these circular black and white stickers that feature posi sayings like “good vibes only” and “yes yes yes”. Don’t forget the rad moon sticker! The eclipse happens in less than a week!

Navy Blue Letter Stickers

These have a nautical vibe to them based on the color and the stripes at the top of the sheet. Love the hand-written-script-like typeface here!

Striped Washi Tape

Last but certainly not least- green striped washi tape! My fave!

Verdict: The Messy Box surely one of their best. I will miss reviewing these and seeing the awesome designs each month, but I guess it was just time for them to retire this box. Sad face. At least I have a huge arsenal from the last few months to get me through any journaling or scrapbooking needs I may have.

Are you sad to see Messy Box walk away?
