Bride-Box-March-2017-info-sheet

The Bride Box always includes a one sided info card with details about the items in your box.

Bride-Box-March-2017-Collateral

This month The Bride Box included a few coupons and advertisements as well.

Bride-Box-March-2017-Shot-Glass

Waterfall Designs Shot Glass - Value $6.00

This shot glass is really heavy and nicely weighted. The design is really cute and clever for a bride and bridal party if shots are your thing! I'll likely use this for an espresso shot glass!

Bride-Box-March-2017-Eye-mask

My Tagalongs Hello Gorgeous Eye Mask - Value $10.00?

This eye mask has contoured eye pads which makes it really nice. It doesn't press against your eyes and eyelashes, so it's comfortable and practical. The design is a little juvenile for me, but it is cute and matches the manicure kit I received a few months ago.  I couldn't find this exact eye match online, so the value is based on a similar style.

Bride-Box-March-2017-Candle

Lola's Handcrafted Candle - Beautiful Day - Value $7.00?

This candle is made from 100% soy wax, with a cotton wick and phthalate-free fragrance. The scent isn't my favorite - it's more floral than I would like. I know someone will enjoy it, though!

Bride-Box-March-2017-Mascara

Pur Fully Charged Mascara - Value $22.00

This mascara is supposedly powered by magnetic technology. It also slated as 'anti-aging' which sounds like a really far-fetched claim to me, but I don't wear makeup, so I'm not the best person to comment on it!

Bride-Box-March-2017-Mascara-brush

Here's the brush for the mascara. It is about 1 inch long and the bristles are pretty stiff.

Bride-Box-March-2017-mascara-color

The color is a deep black and the formula felt really smooth.

Bride-Box-March-2017-Diamond-Banner

Bling, Bling Banner - Small - Value $15.00

This banner comes with 6 little pink acrylic diamonds. It came with a string that was about 3 feet long. It was a little hard to string the banner since the string wasn't coated on the ends - it kept fraying. If you make this, be sure to tape the ends before stringing it!

Verdict: This The Bride Box has a value of $60.00. The mix of products was nice - a decor item, a candle, makeup, a celebratory item (the shot glass), and the eye mask. Some of the items were not my taste but everyone's tastes are different so you may really like these!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

This subscription seems to be junk 🙁 I just got the May box and was super disappointed. Some blank recipe cards, a cheap blue had screenprinted with “Bride” on it, a packet of seeds (I’m not kidding, they said it was to plant in your first garden together, nothing to do with being a bride). I asked for a refund since this is not like anything they show on their website and they said no.

Is this box really worth $35? I am sending my niece a bride to be box every month that I put together on my own for half that price. I always include a bridal item and then items that match the theme for the month. I’m working on a spa box for the next month. Slippers that are embroidered with bride. A headband embroidered with bride, a fizzy bath bomb, shower gel, lotion, loofah sponge or scrubbie. I am looking for bride eye mask but may need to embroider one. And a candle. I am able to use up my overstock from beauty boxes and she loves getting them.

No, it is not worth the money, can you be my aunt and send me a box every month? Lol. I got my first box yesterday was really excited and then highly disappointed once I opened it… needless to say I cancelled my subscription am out $37 and my 13 year old was more exited about it as it had a snap bracelet in it🙄 brought me back to when I was in school for a moment, but not what I expected to help me prepare for my big day.

Aww, you’re a good aunt! If I were you, I’d just look for a good eye mask and not necessarily worry about having ‘bride’ on it–I got married a few years ago and once the wedding’s over, I felt weird using anything that said “bride.”

I am also a traveler and use eye masks on planes so perhaps I’m also coming at it from that perspective as well — I hate the cheap, plastic-y ones. If you have time to try to swap for one of the Perpetual Shade masks, I definitely recommend that! They are stupid expensive otherwise. The one from the Arianna Huffington Quarterly Box is very girly and should fit your theme.

I dont know about brainless but the plastic diamond “banner” looks like a cheap dollar store find, not worth15$. But i guess to each her own.

By “magnetic technology”, maybe they mean that it contains iron. Not impressed… This whole box seems geared to the young and the brainless. Kind of an insult to intelligent women.

@Julia – Wow, judgmental much? I don’t see how you can be so elitist that you can insult people just because they have different tastes than you. Maybe next time they can include a calculus book in their bride/wedding box just so they start appealing more to “intelligent women”?

I agree with Stefanie above – some items don’t look very expensive and are not really my taste, but to each their own.

Victoria

Agreed. Looks like it’s for 17 year old brides with no taste.

Sheesh. A little young, sure. But brainless/tasteless seems a bit harsh.

It really feels like it’d be good for a bachlorette weekend.
