Love-with-food-January-2017-Rice-chips

Lundberg Sea Salt Rice Chips - Value $0.61

These rice chips are quite good. The sea salt flavor really works well with the rice chips. I received a bag of these in my last SnackSack, so I was really excited to see another bag in my Love with Food box! I pulled them out and ate them for lunch. I was appalled to see that they have 12 grams of fat in this 1.5-ounce bag but they were #worthit.

Love-with-Food-January-2017-Aloha-Daves-Pirouline

Aloha Protein Dietary Supplement - Value $2.64

This protein powder is plant based, gluten free, vegan, soy-free, and GMO-free. I enjoyed this mixed with some coconut milk as a mid-day pick-me-up. It has impressive nutritional stats - 18 grams of protein with only 150 calories and 4 grams of fat!

Dave's Sweet Tooth Milk Chocolate Toffee - Value $1.83

I have tried Dave's Sweet Tooth Toffee in the past in various flavors and always enjoy it! It's delicious, buttery, and crunchy all in one!

Creme de Pirouline Cookies by DeBeukelaer - Value $0.71

Pirouline cookies are my favorite store bought cookie - they're always delicious and just the right amount of sweet! These are particularly good because I love dark chocolate!

Love-with-Food-January-2017-Bakery-Super-Cookies

My Super Cookies - Organic Blueberry Vanilla Heroes - Value $0.63

These are really good. They taste like blueberry shortbread cookies - I enjoyed them!

Bakery on Main - Peanut Butter & Chocolate Granola Bar - Value $1.00

This is a granola bar for all you peanut butter & chocolate fiends out there! I really enjoyed this - the texture was nice and chewy and the flavor was spot on.

Love-with-Food-January-2017-Lilys-Latte-Espresso

Lily's Dark Chocolate Square - Value $0.50?

I really enjoyed this dark chocolate - it wasn't too bitter and was the perfect size for an after lunch treat. You should read the story of how this company got started - it's heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. As an aunt, I'm dealing with something very similar with one of the littles I love and I admire Lily's strength and resilience.

Coffee Trio TruffleCremes by Dilettante Chocolates - Value $1.12

I was not a fan of these, unfortunately. I will readily admit that coffee and chocolate in sweets is not my favorite combination (though I love putting hot chocolate in my coffee...I realize I am a weirdo), so I'm hoping all of you enjoy these more than I did!

Love-with-Food-January-2017-Truvia

Truvia - Value $0.46

When I reach for a calorie free sweetener - I usually reach for Splenda. It has the least aftertaste for me, so that's my default. I really did enjoy this Truvia calorie-free sweetener so maybe I'll make the switch this year!

Truvia Nectar - Sample

I tried this in my tea instead of just adding honey and I have to say I prefer honey only still, but this was a great alternative!

Verdict: This month's Love with Food Tasting box has a value of $9.50, which is just below the cost of the month to month box. I really enjoyed the mix of products and most of the items I received. Love with Food always does a great job at sending a nice mix of newer and more classic items, which I really love! Many of the items this month would also fit with new year's resolutions to eat better - so that's a win in my book as well!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

I loooooved the toffee. Probably the best thing I’ve ever had from one of their boxes.

My boyfriend and I both really enjoy Love With Food (even though he will make fun of me for all my other boxes, haha). I think it’s because we both like trying random, new food, and the new-ish points system helps too. We got the surprise box with our last batch of points and it was worth it partially just for the entertainment of seeing all the random things in it!

I think reviewers on MSA have mentioned before that even though it’s not a great “value” in terms of comparison to retail, it’s really well curated. I have to agree. Maybe it’s partially that my boyfriend and I make it an “experience,” and even if we hate something, it’s practically entertainment. And it sure helped I was able to use a promo to get the next six months for $40, with another surprise box included!

I was really happy with this box. Bought it during a sale so it was only $4.83/month. My hero cookies were chocolate and not bad but my favorite item was the toffee. Between my son and I the box was gone in two days!

I’m not sure which snack box I received, but I got completely different items. This is my first box from them, so maybe it is a special box. I received 1 Cocomel caramel, Walker’s Shortbread, Dick Jane Educational Snacks, Lundberg Sriracha Rice Chips, Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps, SunRype Fruit to Go, Divina Fig Spread, and Tasty Fruit Snacks.

I loved those truffles so much I used my points on lovewithfood.com to purchase a bag of them! I think this was almost my favorite box. But unfortunately I canceled after 3 months. I feel like I got a good value, but now that I’ve spent all my points, it’s almost not work $10. I referred one friend that bought, so I got points from her. And plus I started my sub with a BOGO promo. So I bought 3 months and got 6 boxes (2 were purchased with my points I earned). Maybe if they lowered the price to $7.99, or offered more points for my reviews I would have stayed. Plus I have switched to gluten free, and the gluten free box costs more.

I got Honey Heroes cookies. They were OK, but I think I would have liked the ones you got a little better.

I really liked the coffee truffles, but either coffee candy or ice cream is the only way I take my coffee! 😄
