This month, the theme was Pumpkin O'Plenty. The Pumpkin Batch always includes a one-page sheet explaining the items and the theme for the month.
Oh, My Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal - Straw Propeller - Value $4.00
I really enjoyed this for breakfast. It has raisins, pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin pie spice all packed inside. These oats are also gluten free, so this is one treat that most people can indulge in! This oatmeal was sent in a previous box but it has been so long that it doesn't really seem like a repeat.
Pumpkin Pie Spice Fudge - The Mill Fudge Factory - Listed Value $6.00
This fudge is fabulous. The pumpkin pie flavor comes through really strongly here and it's very smooth and rich. I loved it! This fudge is also a repeat from an earlier box - but it's fabulous, so we can't fault them for that.
Fireside Coffee - Cafe Mocha - Pumpkin Spice - Value $2.40
This dry mix is a super easy way to get some pumpkin spice goodness into your life. You mix it with 8 oz. of hot water for a hot drink, or 2 oz. of hot water and 6 oz. of cold water for a cold drink. It really doesn't get easier than that for coffee! The flavor was pretty good for a dry drink mix as well - I would definitely buy these again.
Gather - Give Thanks - Feast - Tin Sign - Value $2.88
This little sign is super cute. It is very Thanksgiving-centric but really, I would use this year round in my kitchen. It would also work well as a host/hostess gift on top of a nice bottle of wine, etc.
The Scrub Bar - Pumpkin Ale Scrub - Value $6.00
I wish you could smell this. It is so much more than just a pumpkin body scrub - it smells phenomenal and it has some other scents mixed into the pumpkin that makes it unique. I loved the way it made my skin feel after using it - it was very gentle and moisturizing.
The Enrico Biscotti Company - Pumpkin Walnut Biscotti - Listed Value $4.00
Biscotti is one of those things I always feel classy eating - but it's really just a cookie for breakfast: Class + Cookie for Breakfast = total win. These were really good. If I had the option, I would choose one without walnuts but on the whole, I really enjoyed these.
Verdict: This month's The Pumpkin Batch shipment has a value of about $25.28. That's not a bad value! It meets the cost of the box (minus shipping) and I really liked the variety included this month. I am one of those people that hates paying shipping but with small box companies, I absolutely understand why they have to charge. I am happy with the number of items, the value, and the variety this month!
