The box contains a simple CampusCube greeting card with a bonus candy cane.

campuscube-storage-boxes

The outer box can be upcycled into storage space. They're stackable and make for nifty organizational shelves! CampusCube kindly sent me a couple extra boxes so you can see what they look like when used together as storage solutions. The items are for scale.

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-pillowcase

"I Woke Up Like This" Pillowcase - Value $10?

This is a CampusCube exclusive pillowcase with pink script that reads "I woke up like this." It's 60% cotton, 40% polyester, and made in the USA. It is very soft to the touch and large enough to fit most pillows. I love items that are cute and functional, so this is perfect.

Starbucks Double Chocolate Hot Cocoa - Value $0.87

Delicious! This hot cocoa is super rich and creamy. It's perfect for a quick winter pick-me-up.

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-coloring-set

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-coloring-set-closeup

Adult Coloring Card and Colored Pencil Set - Value $12?

This is a "color-your-own" greeting card and envelope set with 12-pack colored pencils. The idea of adult coloring greeting cards is genius. Sometimes I want to relax with a little bit of coloring, but it's even more fun when I can show it off to my friends. Essentially, this kills two birds with one stone. The greeting cards are blank on the inside so they can be used for any occasion.

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-makeup-sponge

Oh K Cosmetic Blender Sponge - Value $9.50

This is a makeup sponge that can be used for a variety of purposes. It has a chubby rounded end for applying creams or liquids, plus a pointy end for accessing hard-to-reach areas or for precise application. Makeup sponges like these are great for giving your foundation a more airbrushed finish.

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-stroopwafel

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-stroopwafel-closeup

Belgian Boys Stroopwafel - Value $1.29

It's such a shame that I was only recently introduced to the amazing world of stroopwafels. This is a game-changing cookie! Smooth caramel cream is sandwiched between two waffle-cone-wafer hybrid cookies for a mouthwatering combination. It is delicious by itself or with tea or coffee or milk. It's a good thing there are two stroopwafels per pack because my boyfriend and I surely would have gotten in a fight had there been only one.

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-brownie-brittle

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-brownie-brittle-closeup

Sheila G's Brownie Brittle Chocolate Chip with White Drizzle 4 oz - Value $2.79

I am seriously obsessed with Sheila G's Brownie Brittle. Just when you think brownie brittle cannot be more amazing, these ones with white chocolate drizzle seriously rock my socks off. The drizzle adds extra creamy sweetness to balance the chocolatey crunch but it never overwhelms the fundamental brownie flavor. It's tragic that this flavor is only around for the holiday season!

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-boom-chicka-pop-popcorn

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-boom-chicka-pop-popcorn-closeup

Boom Chicka Pop Holidrizzle Frosted Sugar Cookie Popcorn 4.5 oz - Value $4.99

This is another incredibly addictive snack that's only available for the holiday season. I cannot explain how amazing frosted sugar cookie flavored popcorn is. The pink sugar sprinkles and sugar frosting drizzle really elevates the kettle corn. I feel like it adds unique texture as well.

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-coffee-energy-shot

Forto Cold Brewed Coffee Energy Shot in French Vanilla 2 oz - Value $1.66

This is a sweet, flavored black coffee energy shot. It's USDA organic and fair trade certified. While I usually dislike black coffee, this one has enough flavor and sweetness to keep me happy. I am a fan of the French vanilla flavor as well. It has 200mg of caffeine per bottle, which is the equivalent of two cups of coffee.

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-harrys-razor

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-harrys-razor-contents

Harry's Truman Razor in Ivory - Value $17

This razor is made with a comfortable, matte rubbery grip plus a weighted core for better control. The blades have a flexible hinge and lubricating strip. Overall, it looks and feels like a high-quality item. The box includes a coupon code to redeem four free blades plus free shipping from the Harry's website (redeemable for new customers). The razor costs $9 while the four redeemable blades are worth $8.

campuscube-girls-winter-2016-sinjipouch-wallet

Sinjipouch Smartphone Wallet in Royal Blue - Value $9.99

This is an adhesive wallet or pouch that you can attach to the back of a smartphone. The pocket is made of stretchy fabric that gives you the flexibility to store credit cards, keys, or knickknacks. I think this is a convenient and useful accessory, especially for college students.

Verdict: This is my favorite CampusCube curation to date. I loved every single item. The total estimated retail value is a little over $70, which I think is fantastic for a college care package box. I didn't account for the bonus candy cane or storage box either. Overall, this is a very thoughtful and fun box, and if I was still in college I would have loved to receive this as a gift.

Is it awful that I want to order this for myself? I will be taking college classes again this next year but from home. I love all the things!

I definitely wouldn’t call the snacks in here “healthy” as the description states. It’s a cute box, though.

Pilar

Wasn’t that pillowcase in the first month box?

Great memory, Pilar! Yes we included that pillowcase in the September box and then so many people asked for it that we put it in the first box (only) for each recipient in October and December, too. We have some new designs for Spring and a new Happy Donut tee shirt for the January Cube to mix things up a bit, too. Best, Lauren

CampusCube’s pulled out another winning box. I absolutely love their cubes. I’ve sent one to my daughter in October and signed up for next Spring semester. I’m thinking to send this one box to my niece in California as a Christmas gift since I’ll miss seeing her through holiday time. Questions; Is it too late to send one box? Is it ok to send this to home address? Please let me know. Anyway, good job Campus Cube!

Hi Nicole, thanks for your nice note. We really appreciate your support and the great feedback. It’s not too late for the Winter Box…we could send it to a home address, if you like, and then if you decide to send a spring subscription we’d just change the address to a college address (or you can manage/change addresses yourself if you create and account on our site). Or if you just want the Spring subscription, we’ll start with the January Cube and send you a nice e-card that can be printed or emailed to your recipient to let them know about their gift. Best, Emma
