The box includes a basic "Happy Fall" card.

campuscube-storage-boxes

The outer box can be upcycled into storage space. They're stackable and make for nifty organizational shelves! CampusCube kindly sent me a couple extra boxes in September so you can see what they look like when used together as storage solutions. The items shown are for scale.

campuscube-women-october-2016-brownie-brittle

Sheila's Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Brownie Brittle - Value $3.99

I love brownie brittle! It's quite possibly the best recent snack invention besides cronuts. The squares are deliciously thin and crispy. Each piece contains generous amounts of dark chocolate chips. Plus, there are only 120 calories per serving!

campuscube-women-october-2016-popcorn

campuscube-women-october-2016-popcorn-closeup

BookChickaPop Candy Corn Holidrizzle Popcorn - Value $2.88

This popcorn has candy corn-flavored drizzle and it tastes as amazing as it sounds. Each handful (because it isn't possible to eat this one popcorn at a time) has the perfect amount candy corn sweetness. This is also included in the Guys October/Fall box.

campuscube-women-october-2016-oatmeal

Modern Oats Vermont Maple Oatmeal - Value $3.50

I appreciate fast and convenient breakfast options, so instant oatmeal is great. Some notable ingredients here include maple sugar and pumpkin seeds. Each bite contains the perfect amount of sweetness while the seeds provide a bit of crunch. I'm a big fan.

campuscube-women-october-2016-tea

Republic of Tea Pumpkin Spice Travel Tin - Value $4.50

This is a black tea blend that includes ginger, cinnamon, and pumpkin. The tin contains six round tea bags. The tea is so aromatic and very appropriate for the season. I had mine with milk and it tasted like perfection.

campuscube-women-october-2016-face-mask

Andalou Naturals Instant Brightening Face Mask - Value $3.69

This is a wash-off face mask that contains pumpkin puree, aloe vera, and manuka honey. It looks and smells like pumpkin pie. I started feeling a cooling sensation several minutes after application and it remained so until I washed it off. My face felt very soft, plump, and nourished afterward!

campuscube-women-october-2016-granola-bites

Nourish Snacks Berry'd Treasure Granola Bites - Value $2

This is perfect as an on-the-go snack. The soft, chewy granola bites contain blueberries, apples, and apricots. I like how it's not overly sweet. The fruit and berry blend is very tasty as well.

campuscube-women-october-2016-jerky

campuscube-women-october-2016-jerky-closeup

Krave Black Cherry Barbecue Pork Jerky - Value $7

This jerky is amazing! It took me considerable effort not to eat the whole bag in one sitting. Each piece is soft, juicy, and tender. I love the sweet and smoky barbecue flavor.

campuscube-women-october-2016-cardholder

Sinji Pouch Smartphone Cardholder Wallet - Value $7.99

This is an adhesive pouch-like wallet that you can attach to the back of your smartphone. The pouch is made of stretchy fabric so you can store multiple cards or bills inside. I think this is a great item to have for a college student. It's really convenient for when you don't want to lug around purses or wallets.

campuscube-women-october-2016-shaver

campuscube-women-october-2016-shaver-opened

Harry's Truman Razor - $17

This razor is made with a comfortable, matte rubbery grip plus a weighted core for better control. The blades have a flexible hinge and lubricating strip. Overall, it looks and feels like a high-quality item. The box includes a coupon code to redeem four free blades plus free shipping from the Harry's website. The razor costs $9 while the four redeemable blades are $8.

FYI, every new subscriber receives the Sinji cardholder wallet and Harry's razor in his or her Cube. Subscribers for whom this was the second Cube received a phone charger instead.

Verdict: The total retail value for this box is $52.55, which I think is a nice value especially at the $31.99 or $34.99 price point. I think CampusCube is a fun care package--  I would have loved to receive this in college. Of course, you don't have to be a college student to enjoy this either! I also appreciate the bonus upcycled storage box, which is both resourceful and environmentally conscious.

If you subscribe today you will receive the October/Fall Box.

Amy

I’ve been wanting to try this for my niece in college. The last box with the pillow case was much better IMO than this snack box. I’ll wait on this one.

Hi Amy~
I signed up for & had a years worth of boxes for my daughter who is a freshman through a place called “Our Campus Market” (OCM). I can’t remember exactly what I spent on it, but there were, I believe 6-7 “baskets” (boxes) included and if I recall right it was in the $130 range. I was able to personalize each card & add different picture on each card. I loved that option because I signed each one from a different family member & added a picture of her with that person, even her beloved dog sent one!?

They have so many different boxes, occasions, themes, etc. So far, she got one the day after she moved in to her dorm & a Halloween themed one. She’s LOVED them, as have her roommate & suite mates. It’s an easy way to make sure something is coming often, with no hassle & a whole lot of love. I just thought I’d mention it, since you’re looking for other items. I think you’ll find something awesome there. I’m not sure if your niece’s college is one that they deliver to, but there’s a huge list of the ones they work with… It may be on there. xo.?

Oh, I did look at that site – Our Campus Market. – and it was a lot of junk food that looked like it came from a vending machine. My daughter and I would never eat that stuff. What I liked about CampusCube is that the snacks are healthy and top quality things that I would choose for my own family. And some people mentioning about the size of snacks here, I think the snacks from CampusCube is good size, not small snacks.

Lauren

Thanks for the feedback on the pillowcase, Amy! We’ve been thinking about making that custom pillowcase one of the items we include in every first Cube so it’s really helpful to hear that you liked it so much. We’ve got some other really cute exclusive items in the pipeline for Winter and Spring so please stay-tuned. And if you want to order for your niece now, let us know at [email protected] and we’ll be sure to include the pillowcase for you 🙂

Juliya

Seems really expensive for a box full of small snacks.

If I was away from home at any point in my life or at home I would use all things. I think they should add some cute notebooks and pens and something to keep me safe if god forbid something should should happen. Then I would feel better about price. Parents may sleep better too.
