DesignTwentyFive Wedding Planner Notepad - $15.00

This wedding planner notepad covers all the basics of the day-to-day planning of a wedding. The design of the pages is really cute and logically laid out. Having planned my wedding in a short 3 months time, I can say that having something like this would have been helpful for the day in and day out keeping track of things! This notepad also has a place to practice your new signature...which is funny but a cute idea!

GreatLookz Handkerchief - $19.98 (on sale for $9.99)

This handkerchief is embroidered with the saying "Happy Tear Catcher." I think I would have appreciated this one more, but that's only because of my sense of humor. I think this one covers a vast range of brides, and is definitely appropriate for the box! If you suspect any crying at your ceremony, a handkerchief is a classy way to mop up the tears and dripping mascara!

Flipsidez Bride Flip Flops - Value $24.95

These flip flops say "Here comes the bride" on the bottom, so every step you take on the beach leaves it's imprint. I've linked to a similar pair above, since I couldn't find these exact sandals on the Flipsidez website. I do have to say that these flip flops and the hat are going to be very taste specific for people. There's no way I would have worn these or the hat, but I know some people who would love them.

Bella Designs Activewear - Bride Hat - $14.99

Again, this hat is not to my taste, but it does seem well constructed and the glitter is not flaking off. I would imagine that the hat would hold up well for at least all wedding related festivities, if not beyond.

Verdict: This is my first time receiving The Bride Box, and I have mixed feelings. I think the planning note pad and handkerchief are probably universal items that all brides will use at some point, while the flip flops and hat are less universal, and more taste-specific. As far as value goes, the value of the box is about $64.93 - well over the cost of the box. There were also coupons included, which is always nice!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

I just got married on July 30th and hadn’t heard of the box till I got the email for the most recently reviewed boxes. I was intrigued till I looked at the review. Nothing in here would have been something I would have used. The hat is so very far from my style, as well as the handkerchief. The to-do pad wouldn’t have helped much either as I had a full size notebook as my checklist. As far as the flip flops, I got married in a vineyard, despite growing up in Florida I would never have had a wedding on the beach. I opted for cute slippers that said “Mrs” on one and had a ring on the other, something I can continue to use. I have to agree with the other comments, it’s a very off putting box and it would have been something to catch my eye before my wedding.

Wow that looks like a really sad box and there is so much you can do with box. Not everyone is getting married either,or they have, so on and on. Let me stop…. Maybe it’s not the box for me thats all.

This is like a time capsule from 1955. I don’t need a lace hanky for my lady-tears, nor do I need to practice my new signature, because it is not changing. Not only would I not use anything in here, it’s pretty offensive.

I didn’t plan my wedding at all. I bought a dress at Belk for $27 the weekend before. We got married in a mass ceremony at the county courthouse back in April.
